Guest goldiskewl Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 Wrestlemania is way overbooked. Here's what I would do: MAIN EVENT: Angle vs. Lesnar (has to be, it's been built forever) Hogan vs. Vince Rock vs. Benoit HBK/Booker vs. Jericho/HHH (or have Austin instead of Booker. Since it was rumored that WWE is gonna have Raw only PPV in April then Smackdown only PPV in May, it would wise to have Jericho vs. HBK and then HHH vs. either Booker or Austin for World title at the Backlash. Wrestlemania already has a world title match in Angle vs. Lesnar.) Guerreros vs. Team Angle (or you can add Edge/Mysterio to make 3 way) UT vs. Nathan Jones or Big Show... whoever Trish vs. Victoria vs. Jazz Flair vs. Austin (or Booker) Orton/Batista vs. Dudleyz vs. Storm/Regal (tag title match) Christian/Steiner/RVD/Hardy/Kane vs. Kanyon/Cena/Matt Hardy/Edge/Mysterio (raw vs. smackdown showdown) Kidman vs. Tajiri or some cruiser I think it would be best to have the Booker/HBK vs. HHH/Jericho though to save mega PPV matches for next PPV. It would be smart.
Guest Choken One Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 Yeah but it's WWE logic here... Here is my problem...I have NO clue about what to do with these GUYS CENA Rhyno Steiner Test Batistia I was thinking to Put Rhyno over Steiner and permantly finish the Steiner program and use it to sell Rhyno as a threat...(they could do this with Batistia as well...But i don't wanna)... CENA...I AM CERTAIN he'll do Wrestle Mania Rap 03... What rhymes with Seattle? "I took that bitch and threw her in my saddle..." U KNOW TEST will have a spot...I was thinking of Orton/Test...I wouldn't be shocked if Evilution decided it needed an Female counterpart and they used Orton as her new BF or "Market Tool"... There more possibilities but I already planned 14 matches now...
Guest Si82 Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 Flair v. Taker was a great underrated match. Triple H v. Jericho was also very good. Hogan v. Rock was amazing to watch. DDP v. Christian, Kane v. Angle, RVD v. Regal and Booker T v. Edge were all solid matches. And the hardcore segments were very entertaining I've got to disagree with you on some points Bob. I thought that Flair vs. Undertaker and Triple H vs. Jericho were both boring and pretty damn predictable too. However, I did mark out for Arn Anderson. Hogan vs. Rock was good the first time but doesn't hold-up to repeat viewings. And the undercard was just a mish-mash of hastly thrown together matches that weren't given any time to develop. That said, I did like the hardcore title segments.
Guest El Satanico Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 Here is my Complete Mania Card... WWE Title Match Kurt Angle © Vs Brock Lesnar Vince McMahon Vs Hulk Hogan The Rock Vs Steve Austin World Title Match Triple H © Vs Booker T. World Tag Titles Los Guerrenos Vs Team Angle © Jericho Vs HBK Chris Beniot Vs Edge WWE Tag Team Title Regal and Storm Vs Dudz Kane Vs RVD CW title match Matt Hardy Vs Mysterio 3 Way Women's Title Match Victoria © Vs Jazz Vs Trish Undertaker Vs Jones That's the most likely and out of those I'd only care to watch 4 matches. Angle vs. Lesnar Team Angle vs. Los Guerreros Beniot vs. Edge Rey vs. Matt Hardy And the women's match may good depending on who's in it and how much time it gets. The rest of the matches will be craptastic and/or predictable. Unless those 4 matches are amazing it'll be a decent/good but not great WM.
