If Triple H was fired tomorrow

Recommended Posts

Guest JMA

Notice the title. Say Triple H really fucks up and Vince has no choice but to fire his ass. What happens to WWE? Does Triple H retire or go to TNA? What would the political structure be like?

Hopefully Raw would get better and be able to create some new stars instead of everyone having to lay down for Triple H.

As for were he would go. I don't fucking care as long as he isn't on Raw every week stinking up the show.

It wouldn't make any difference, because HGH has so expertly emasculated every potential main event babyface on Raw, that it would take at least a year before any of them is seen as a credible main eventer.

I severely doubt that.

With HHH gone, everyone else would "step up" in his place. Think. Rock's gone, Austin's just barely coming back, and if HHH was gone, all we would need is Taker to finally take the hint and leave, and finally there is no glass ceiling.. *sigh* ^_^

It wouldn't mean shit because the bookers on RAW absolutely suck ass. You can talk about lame "what if?" scenerios all you want, but it won't mean a damn thing if the bookers can't write good TV.

HHH probably makes more than all the NWA salaries combined. He would sit out til he really needed cash.

This could be a blessing in disguise. Now that Trips will actually be family, if he fucks up once, his ass is out. Nothing is forever in wrestling guys...especially marriage.

But APO is right...get Gerwitz the fuck off that creative team. I'd be willing to let Dreamer run with the book now that he's there. He had some great input during ECW's days.

I can't possibly imagine Vince firing HHH now that Steph is his fiancee.

Agreed. HHH has entrenched himself into WWE hierarchy way too deep now. No chance of him being let go unless something drastically changes.

His this actually been confirmed by somone who is usually on the ball, like Metzler?

Jester, I'm just curious, why do you always wait until Meltzer confirms? 1wrestling might not be everyone's favorite source for information for whatever reason, but Dave Scherer usually doesn't put up anything without verifying his sources.

I wouldn't say I "always" wait Metzler. It just suprises me that something this big hasn't been reported elsewhere. Or has it and I just haven't noticed?

I may also be in denial, because I don't think a person in authority at WWE marrying a wrestler is good for the business. That just doesn't apply to HHH Steph, I'd say the same thing if Trish married Shane McMahon.

I agree about the fact that it's not good for business, but as long as they've been dating, it makes sense for them to get engaged, given their ages. Do you really think that HHH just wanted a fling here? If he ever ended it, he'd be dead and he knows it.

Back at the start of the Invasion, 1wrestling.con put up the 'big news' that Bret Hard had signed with the WWF to lead the WCW Invasion. This was of course total crap, and a simple call would have confirmed that. They never retracted the story. Right then, I stopped taking them seriously.

It may make "sense," but my question remains...did it happen?

As for HHH's desires, it depends on his actual feelings for Stephanie. If he truly loves her and the egostroking on Raw is just a nice bonus, he wants to get married. If he is just using her in the most cynical way, he'd probably want to prolong the relationship as long as possible with formal commitment.

Why can't we assume HHH loves Stephanie just like any other guy loves their fiancees...I didn't marry my wife because I knew I could get a paid off house in the exchange and a New car...They just came with it...

HHH and Stephanie have been together for 3 years...battle tested on the road for 3 years...They've pretty much already were married...given how long Wrestling relationships last...

Now...If he was fired...

The morale would be down not up...If the biggest Politician in the company could be fired...Why wouldn't you assume that YOU could easily be next? It'll be horrible because then you'd have alot of political jockeying...

TSM has this mind-set that The Boys HATE Triple H...aside from a few...I don't think they have any care...Jericho and HHH have gone public about thier friendships...

If Hunter left, that means Shawn or Hogan or Taker would take over the politcal game...MAYBE Jericho could get in on it as he and Shawn are Christian Buddies...

Is thier an Upside? It only means that Gerwitz has bigger mess as how HE has to control the show...not Hunter...

IF HHH were fired tomorrow the Undertaker would be put on both shows.

McMahon would NEVER allow TNA to pick HHH up. HHH is probably under a lifetime contract anyway. If anything were to ever happen, the contract would probably just be suspended like Austin's. Vince knows that if any of his true big stars were to go to TNA, it would give them something they really need, and a great possibility of becoming a force.

Bah...I didn't get to finish this...

TNA WILL NEVER BECOME A FORCE AT THIS RATE...they are a 3rd rate ECW.

This topic is a "what if" scenario. In other words, assume it DOES happen in the context of this thread. Don't say it would never happen, just assume it does for the purpose of this thread.

Nothing will change - the gaping hole left by Hunter's departure will probably be filled by another "quick fix" - Goldberg, Sting, or the like.

Smarks on the board complain about "glass ceilings" and such..But if the Raw writers can't keep me interested in RVD or a returning STEVE AUSTIN, why should I care who's being pushed or not pushed? It's not like Gerwitz and Vince will suddenly work magic with RVD, Booker and Jericho on top - they've fucked up every possible money-making angle in the last 2 years (even the nWo, which wrote itself for chrissakes) that I don't really give a shit whether Hunter's gone, or Hunter's clogging up the main event.

The problem starts with the WRITERS, not the wrestlers. If they won't even book a 8-minute match on Raw sans run-ins, how will Lance Storm or Booker T ever be taken seriously? If they give 2 minutes of promo time to Scott Steiner, why should I believe he has a chance in hell at winning this Sunday? If Batista is only given squash matches to work with, why should I give a shit about him?

Am I right?

Yes, the writers are a big problem. But with Hunter not sitting in booking meetings things would vastly change. Also, remember that Dreamer will be joining soon. Perhaps he could show them the error of their ways.

beer, chips, liquor, pop, and general party sales would be up around the country as smarks everywhere would spend days and possibly weeks partying in celebration that HHH is gone

I think HHH marrying Steph could end up being a blessing in disguise. If HHH's injury bug keeps biting, he might be more inclined and nagged by his new wife and family (Vince and Linda) to sit out longer or even consider retirement since he would now be a member of the family and wouldn't have to go out and kill himself on the road and kill crowds in the ring. There is an upside people, you just have to look to see it. Plus, if HHH were to leave the ring and step outside the box and be a writer/booker, he may be able to tweak the product some and get it away from McMahonism. (you know, Sportz Entertainment)

If HHH was fired tommorrow he would probably go to NWA. The WWE would not improve though. If anything it would hurt them.

Hunter is on the booking committee? When did this happen? IS this breaking news I have missed because I do not remember reading this anywhere.

I don't think he is an *Offical* member but It's belived that HHH gets his thoughts in during dinner time at the McMahon Dinner Table in Greenwich, Ct.
