Guest TheArchiteck Posted February 19, 2003 Report Posted February 19, 2003 I'm with some of you..... How hard would it be to ask for a name??
Guest bravesfan Posted February 19, 2003 Report Posted February 19, 2003 First of all, I doubt this news is even true at all. Second of all, unless they're dangling a contract over Chamberlain's head, should we give a shit whether he signed or not? How does this reflect badly on the company as a whole? One person's minor slip-up about confusing two wrestlers, where a CONTRACT WASN'T EVEN INVOLVED, and someone should be fired? The WWE should be ashamed? It's a simple CALL, people. The WWE could've just called to if he was interested in the product, and maybe come into development in a few months. Stop bitching.
Guest Breetai Posted February 19, 2003 Report Posted February 19, 2003 Next up; WWE actually wanted to fire Booker T, but accidentally fired D'lo instead.
Yuna_Firerose Posted February 19, 2003 Report Posted February 19, 2003 not only that but the evil WWE made it even worse by making that other poor 1 legged guy hop over to answer the phone when they didn't even want to talk to him... shocking... Am I the only one who laughed at that?
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 You guys are getting worked up over stupid shit. Where's the outrage over the dirt sheets reporting the wrong shit and then apologizing for it later? If this guy wasn't confused after the phone call, he really was confused after he looked at the Torch or whatever and saw that he signed some contract that he never did.

The dirt sheets aren't multimillion dollor corporations I don't think.

If NASA can waste millions by sending a satelite off into the wrong void of space thanks to somebody forgetting to translate from Metric, isn't it okay if a WWE agent accidentally dials a wrong number?

Getting just a bit desperate for comparison's are we? I mean, WWE and f'n NASA? I'm saying that something like that is not excusable, it's stupid as hell. It says a lot about how much attention they pay to contacting the talent. Sure it was just a mistake, but one hell of a dumb ass one. It shouldn't have happened, period.
