Guest Space_Cowboy Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Vader/Dusty vs Harris Brothers next week it looks like.
Guest tpww7 Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 That was a good surprise. Vader is awesome. Vader/Dusty vs Harrises next week.
Guest RedJed Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 So if Russo wasn't involved as the spokesperson you wouldn't hate it right? I know what you're trying to get me on, and it won't work. It's the same with WWE, I feel like the announcers shouldn't talk about what isn't onscreen at the moment except in passing. It devalues what the television audience is watching. I mean, I wouldn't order if I didn't like TNA. Dude I was just asking you a simple question, I wasn't trying to "get you on" anything.
Guest tpww7 Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Lynn vs the SAT? Handicap Match?
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Jerry Lynn is so calm in his interviews. And Vader was the last dude I expected to show up. EDIT: And I didn't see the new cage girl, since I didn't order last week. Which one did she replace? She's bangin'.
Guest tpww7 Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Why is this a handicapped match?
Guest RedJed Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 what do you mean "fire them russo"? last time i checked, jeff jarrett was still writing the pay checks for his wrestlers. Just saying he should have fired them in the storylines, and then just get rid of them from the company. They don't have any long term contract so thats works for me. As much as I'm thrilled to see Vader back in the states, I'm not looking forward to that match next week. I can't imagine how shitty Rhodes in the ring with either Harris brother will suck.
Guest RedJed Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Hopefully we'll see some luchadores show up here.
Guest tpww7 Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 They should bring in Juvi, Psychosis, and La Parka.
syxx2001 Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 its a handcapped match cause the sat's were good x division wrestlers and they betrayed lynn.
Guest Zack Malibu Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Konnan says he's recruiting... Run in perhaps?
Guest RedJed Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 It's amazing how much I couldn't stand Konnan in his WCW stint, and now I am digging this new persona he has, plus his promos are really good now.
Guest Galactic Gigolo Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 I marked out for the Bionic Elbow. I'm surprised no one made a "Vader's here, he left his SUV outside, and he's mighty drunk!" Guess everyone forgot about that one. Pretty ehhh match, especially considering how The SAT's aren't exactly the most fluid workers.
Guest tpww7 Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Lynn reverses the spanish fly and wins.....wait it was only 2.
Guest Downhome Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 I'm not even watching, only reading this thread, and I just marked the hell out just reading that Vader f'n showed up... ...I mean, I've never even seen a single TNA show, heh.
Guest tpww7 Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 And Lynn wins one minute later....
Guest Galactic Gigolo Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 It's amazing how much I couldn't stand Konnan in his WCW stint, and now I am digging this new persona he has, plus his promos are really good now. 1) He's not wrestling. 2) He hasn't talked about peeling my potatoes. 3) There is no shirt to feel. Waiting for a surprise from Konnan.
Guest Space_Cowboy Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Lynn wins with the Crable Piledriver, not a very good match.
Guest tpww7 Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Raven is bringing up the old school ECW feud with Sandman.
Guest RedJed Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 It's amazing how much I couldn't stand Konnan in his WCW stint, and now I am digging this new persona he has, plus his promos are really good now. 1) He's not wrestling. 2) He hasn't talked about peeling my potatoes. 3) There is no shirt to feel. Waiting for a surprise from Konnan. LOL.......that about explains it. Although he can work hard if motivated. And I could probably handle him wrestling more too without that stupid rolling closeline and his moonwalk punch thingy.
Guest Galactic Gigolo Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 God, when they zoom out on this shot it really reveals how crappy of a camera/film they're using.
Guest Galactic Gigolo Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Russo sure does love seguees.
Guest RedJed Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Oh wow, that was weird seeing Plumtree with Russo........if you all knew the things he has said to me about Russo and his ideas. Hell, he even left the business for a few years because of the direction WWF and WCW went in thanks to Russo. Funny how the business works though.
Guest tpww7 Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Disco in the ring..and Disgraceland.........?
Guest Downhome Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 As I read this, I think to myself... ...they really need to stop focusing on having suprises week after week, and begin to really form the company in it's own distint way more so.
Guest Galactic Gigolo Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 "In the real world, how does a masked wrestler cash his check?" Touchee Disco, touchee. Disco brings out his first creation; Disgraceland. It's an out of shape guy dressed like Elvis (Estrada). Meanwhile, Sanders is eating peanut and banana sandwhiches at the announce booth. Disgraceland is actually going to wrestle.... Against SHARK BOY! DSD THAT SHIT DOWN!
