Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted February 20, 2003 And if so, what do you listen to? I can't stand Stern, I just have never heard him say anything at all funny. Tom Lykis is a joke. I use to listen to Mancow, but a couple years ago they dropped him on the Detroit station. What I listen to. Love Line...I listen to this most nights...it's on from 1-3am here, and it's usually what's on when I'm trying to get some sleep. It's 100 times better then the crap they did on MTV. Adam gets away with way more then I though you could on the radio. Drew and Mike...they have the best morning show in Michigan, very funny. Don't listen to them as often as I use to though, radio reception's iffy where I'm at. Jim Rome...I listen to him from time to time. He's full of himself, but he usually has good guests on and the show can be funny at times. Kramer and Twitch...they were the guys in Dallas who got fired a few years ago for saying Britney Spears was killed in a car wreck. So 97.1 here in Michigan scooped them up. Dumbasses at times, but mostly funny. Dominsky and Doyal...came to Michigan from Jersey a couple years ago, the show was real boring at first. But it's pretty good now
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Report post Posted February 20, 2003 I've listened to Loveline for years and years, back to when Ricky Rachman was on it. Even called it several times. I used to listen to Stern, but I moved, and he's not carried where I live now.
Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted February 20, 2003 I listen to Jim Rome, Loveline, and some political talk shows. Besides Loveline, I am at work when 90% of the good stuff is on, so I can only scarcely listen.
Guest Kingpk Report post Posted February 20, 2003 My radio is tuned to WEEI in Boston every day, especially the Big Show. Anyone listen to the Whiner Line today? "Hey LJ it's me LJ. Not to self, on the way home, pick up a sandwich. Goodbye LJ!" You have to hear it to laugh.
Guest phoenixrising Report post Posted February 20, 2003 Loveline - Love the show, Adam is funny as hell and the sound bites are awesome. Jim Rome - Used to be a rabid listener, now I tune in once in a while. The callers are funny but get on my nerves because they're too busy trying to be funny and they usually fail. But it's nice for a good laugh, and Rome is a pretty good interviewer. Jim Daniels - This is a late night talk show, on from 11 PM - 2 AM Pacific time. There's two hosts actually, Jim Daniels and Jason Smith. They're not at all serious about things, and that's why I like it. Even though Jim's Laker homer and Jason's NY homer tendencies get on me every once in a while. Unfortunately they're both on vacation and the dude that is filling in for them has a voice that immediately annoys me within two seconds of hearing it, so I hope they come back soon. Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted February 20, 2003 I listen to Fox Sports Radio a lot, so I have heard Jim Daniels before. The dude thats filing in now used to be on a long time ago and I remember him and think he's cool for being a Maryland/Orioles fan. I miss Farrell (SP?) on the Bench (The guy that hosted battledome and did some hockey games)...he was probably one of the cooler sports talk hosts..
Guest The Camel Report post Posted February 20, 2003 Kramer and Twitch...they were the guys in Dallas who got fired a few years ago for saying Britney Spears was killed in a car wreck. So 97.1 here in Michigan scooped them up. Dumbasses at times, but mostly funny. I used to listen to them on 97.1 KEGL here in the Dallas for a while before they got fired. I have about the same opinion of them, but I remember one bit that stuck out the most... The setup was that they were having a homeless man olympics circa 2000, and the grand prize was a brand new mobile home. They go through the thing, had a couple of stupid events, and declared the winner. The guy that won who was supposed to be a real bum was crying and all excited, until they brought in his new mobile home... A brand new Alberston's shopping cart full of Popeye's fried chicken, toilet paper, dirty magazines, and malt liquor. They played it off like the guy flipped out and smacked Kramer upside the head with a 40 oz. and ran screaming and sobbing out of the studio. I was 10 minutes late going back to work because I was crying so hard. Other talk radio... Stern sucks. Not funny anymore. There's a local host here, Russ Martin on 105.3 KYNG FM talk that absolutely owns all other hosts. Guy has a Mach 5 and a freaking Batmobile, as in a driving, flame throwing f*'ng Batmobile from the Adam West series. his site is www.russmartin.com

Guest imajackoff? Report post Posted February 21, 2003 In the mornings Ive found myself turning off Stern and listening to the Sports Junkies on 99.1 whfs here in the DC/Bmore area. They just moved from doing nights on the station that Stern is simulcast to in DC. Other than that, I listen to the all sports station in DC.

When I was still there, they sucked multiple dicks (figuratively) (probably anyway)
Guest EQ Report post Posted February 26, 2003 Sometimes I'll listen to the morning show of the local radio station, but other than that... no. I don't know if that really counts as "Talk Radio", but it's the closest I have come to listening to it. Back in the day, I used to listen to "Love Phones" on Z100. I don't know if anyone from NY remembers this. Do they even still do it? It used to come on at 10PM
The Dames 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2003 Holy shit, I remember Love Phones. I learned a LOT of shit from that. I used to listen to that when I was really young too so I had to hide the fact that I was listening to it under the covers... Dames
