Guest Shaneomac Report post Posted February 21, 2003 I think that it would make the most sense to have Booker T, the most popular guy on Raw, take on Triple H for the Title. I don't think that it could be a Wrestlemania main event, I see it more like Savage vs. Flair from WM 8.
Guest humongous2002 Report post Posted February 21, 2003 If Booker wrestles HGH @Mania then he will definitely do the job, i doubt he will win he will get buried like the others.

Argh, I'm so tired of that argument. There's no disputing RVD is more over than Booker T. Listen to the crowd response for their entrances and their matches every Monday night. RVD IS more over and, in my opinion, deserves to be facing Triple H for the title instead of Booker T. Booker T has been mired in mid-card singles and tag matches, but is expected to just be hot-shotted to the top feud on Raw ? I don't get it ! At least RVD does Main Event Raw once in a while, but Booker T has just been in the midcard for nearly the entire year.
Guest iamsherm Report post Posted February 21, 2003 An RVD/Kane match at Wrestlemania would make the most sense to me at this point. They've been a team for quite a while now, so I predict a heel turn from one of the two at No Way Out (but preferably RVD just to freshen up his character) to set up the match. Guest creativename Report post Posted February 21, 2003 I don't think that it could be a Wrestlemania main event, I see it more like Savage vs. Flair from WM 8. Oh come on, Savage/Flair was the Main Event of Mania in the eyes of the fans at the time. It was a travesty that it was in the midcard, everyone knows this. Hogan/Sid was simply not built up enough (relative to the championship match), and it was a meaningless match anyway. (Ignore this if your point was simply that they'd be similar in the midcard title match vein, rather than the ability to credibly be the main event) Though yes, Booker vs HHH is a midcard match, especially on a show with Brock/Angle and whatever Rock and Austin end up doing (and yes, even freakin' Hogan/Vince). Guest godthedog Report post Posted February 21, 2003 Everything lines up perfectly for Austin/HHH if they want top pull the trigger on it. That's the match I think is the most realistic. Sounds like a timebomb waiting to explode to me. With all the comments Austin made about HHH in RAW magazine and the fact that Austin legitimately doesn't like HHH. Those two might start shooting on each other. i seriously doubt that. despite personal feelings, they're both professionals. bret and shawn hated each other with a lot more fierceness than these 2, and they never shot on each other. Guest notJames Report post Posted February 21, 2003 With all the comments Austin made about HHH in RAW magazine... How much of a shoot could it have been if it showed up in RAW magazine? Occam's Razor (and CRZ's First Law of Carny-dynamics) say that if you see it on TV or in an official WW_ publication, it's more than likely a work. I don't see anything happening between Austin and HHHeMan that wouldn't have been scripted out beforehand.
Guest Brian Report post Posted February 21, 2003 They were on bad terms going into No Way Out and teaming with each other. Maybe not as bad, because Austin didn't feel that Triple H was playing him off others and manipulating him against Jericho et al.
TheFranchise 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2003 HHH: So Vince-uh, we're at WrestleMani-uh. Who is my mystery opponent-uh ?! *Wolfpac music plays and Kevin Nash steps out !* HHH: Oh my god-uh ! *HHH steps back and falls backward, tearing his quad* Nash: Oh no, Hunter ! *Nash attempts to run down to the ring to help his fallen friend but the aisle is too long for him. He gets winded in the middle of the run and falls, holding his quad. Both men lie on the ground, Hunter in the ring and Nash in the aisle.* .....and ladies and gentlemen, that is your Raw Main Event. LOL This was quality

I agree with you 100%, but let the WCW marks get the hopes up of another Booker title reign, we are talking about a man that was treated as a jobber for most of 2002 and former transitional tag champ.
