Favorite wrestling beatdown!

Orndorff beating down Hogan was an absolute classic... I can still hear Vince screaming "no.... no... NOOOOOO!" as Orndorff gave Hogan the piledriver from hell...

 

But my favorite beatdown was WCW in 96 or 97, when Vincent (aka Virgil) tried to recruit Harlem Heat into the NWO... Vincent makes the wrong comment at the wrong time and Stevie Ray and Booker T just look at each other once and they maul the living hell out of him, ending in a standing side kick to Vincent's jaw that Glacier *wished* that he possessed.... I wish I still had that on tape along with the Faces of Fear squash of High Voltage....

Leading up to Backlash 2000, The Rock had to beat Bossman and Bull Buchanan in a handicap cage match to win the No. 1 contender spot. After Rock won the match, Triple H came in the cage with a pair of brass knuckles and just tore The Rock apart. That was the most blood I've ever seen anyone not named Mick Foley spill, and especially on free TV. Rock was literally laying in a pool of his own blood.

 

Another memorable one was when D-X and the newly-joined Outlaws destroyed Cactus Jack and Terry Funk in a cage.

 

Finally, when ECW reformed on RAW, the last part when they were doing their finishers on all the WWF guys. Sean O'Haire did whatever his move was on Faarooq; RVD Van Daminated Kane; I think Tazz choked out Bob Holly; Dreamer gave someone a Spicolli Driver; it was pretty cool.

I think Rocky cut himself too deep.

 

I remember how they kept showing it in black and white because of the blood.

 

That was awesome how Vince came out on the ECW RAW and was just watching his wrestlers get his ass kicked one by one and could only stand there and watch.

I *LOVE* the beatdown given to the kid wearing the Stinganing mask at Halloween Havoc 1997 (I think)...

 

Hogan and Savage just beating on a kid allegedly from the crowd. What a weird way to end a PPV... I still chuckle at it.
