Are You Psyched About No Way Out?

For whatever reason, be it Austin, Heel Rocky Vs. Hogan, The 6 man tag, Mattitude Vs. Kidman etc, I am really looking forward towards No Way Out. I haven't been this pumped about a WWE PPV since SummerSlam 2002, and last year's Wrestlmania, and that was solely for Rocky/Hogan.

Am I going mental? Or is No Way Out really shaping up to be good>

What do the rest of you guys and gals think?

I'm looking forward to that first step that Shawn Michaels takes into the Canadian arena that they are in, i can't wait to see the reaction.

No, Austin giving Bischoff a hellacous ass-beating should be fun from a smark point-of-view. The 6-Man should be fantastic. Rock vs. Hogan will be mythic. HHH vs. Steiner will be... entertaining.

I can't wait for Austin to beat the snot of EZE, the six man should be good, Rock/Hogan is gonna be great due to fan reaction, and well HHH vs. BPP is HHH vs. BPP. The show should turn out alright. As long as Brock doesn't bring out his Godly powers, and beat Team Angle single handed.

I would not pay to see Austin/Bisch, Rock/Hogan was all atmosphere the first time this time I don't see the importance and it will be a bad match to boot, the 6 man does not interest me much, and Jericho is facing Jeff Hardy. So I have no interest in this show at all.

I'm quietly optimistic that it will be a good show, the card certainly looks pretty decent on paper and hopefully there will be a hot Canadian crowd as well. There's some real legit history in relation to Austin/Bischoff & Michaels/Montreal and it should make for some interesting viewing (hope Mr McMahon is past those none to subtle screwjob references). Even if no match lives up to last months Angle/Benoit or last years Angle/Benoit v Mysterio/Edge it could be the best overall show since Summerslam with a bit of luck.

HHH/BPP was the best comedy match I've ever seen. It was entertaining the way watching people die in bad horror movies is entertaining.

I could see Goldberg spearing Austin on Sunday night, allowing Bischoff to win, setting up Austin vs. Goldberg at Wrestlemania, but that depends on how the talks between Goldberg and Vince are going.

There is no way HBK will come out at No Way Out. HBK/Jericho looks still to be on for WMania, and HBK has to be a strong face when he jobs to Jericho. If he shows, it will just serve to confuse fans.

Here's why I don't think HBK will be there- (well besides the obvious reason)

 

Tomorrow he is doing an autograph signing in Mississauga wich is right outside of Toronto- the site of RAW.

 

So why have him go from Toronto-Montreal-Toronto when he could just spend all weekend in TO?

I'm excited for No Way Out, because I'm watching it with 8-10 of my friends on one of their big screen TVs (Haven't done it since Vengeance), and we all basically want to see Rock/Hogan II, Austin/Bischoff, and mostly the rest of it. Mostly Rock/Hogan.

 

This card does have potential...let's just see if they can fuck it up.

I'm actually just sort of disappointed. The Goldberg news, no direction for Benoit, Edge's injury, the direction of Brock/Angle at the moment, and the general sensation of NWO being a placeholder PPV with very little wresling on the card plus no Guerreros or Rey (though the latter gets a PPV pay-off) doesn't get me pumped.

I'm unimpressed by it all so I don't care if i see it or not. I may watch it, but there's no way in hell I'd pay to see it.

 

The only match that will be interesting is the 6 man which may turn out to be a 5 man.

 

The Austin match could be interesting depending on what happens during it. There's no way it'll be a straight up match so there will be some hijinks.
