ROH commentator question

Who's the commentator that did commentary with Steve Corino during the Amazing Red vs. Low Ki match? I thought it sounded a little like Jerry Lynn, but I'm not sure.

Ive not seen much ROH, but what I have seen had Awesome commentry.

 

On show 2 main event, they call the psych beautifully, an it just makes the match even better.

Show 2, a.k.a. Round Robin Tourny, had Eric Gargulio and Steve Corino working together, if my memory serves me correctly. Eric and RF had a falling out after that show I believe, and that was the last ROH show that Eric called.

It goes back to when Eric use to work for RF Video, and getting fired by them...Rob also thinks that Eric was behind the first fallout between CZW and ROH.

chunk if you mean eric g. he is still doing czw live along with voiceovers for around about a dozen other feds. He was the heel color guy on the latest japanese hardcore wrestling ppv. As well as doing his radio show.

 

Also i dont think it really was a falling out. i think it was just that zandig asked him not to do the roh shows so he stoped. He spoke highly of the roh wrestlers in his comentaries after that show.

According to the Feinstein shoot, Eric G. is a friend of Rob's from his childhood. Only problem is that Eric G. is a coniving little prick who will act like your best friend one moment, then go and tell your enemy the secrets you told him confidentially. He cited how he told Eric about the 60 minute match he wanted to do, and lo and behold, right before ROH did their's, CZW did it. Then he related a story about the Briscoes, and right after he told Eric, Zandig somehow knew about it.

 

This is coming from RF remember. Doesn't mean it's true.

From what I heard from Eric G., it was after the ROH/CZW falling out. He was talking with RF and RF was ragging on CZW big time, so Eric decided that he'd had enough and quit doing ROH. He mentioned nothing about pressure from Zandig, though it wouldn't surprise me if there was any.

I just got hold of some newer ROH tapes and it doesnt sound the same wihtout him. I dont know about anyone else, but i liked him on commentary. He did an awesome job with Corino at Round robin challenge.
