Guest tpww7 Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 Some WWE wrestlers are not happy about the signing of Tenacious Z. Most don't want to have to put over a one legged wrestler since it could go a long way to take their heat away. - WWE is once again asking many wrestlers to get haircuts, including developmental talents Nova and Lance Cade. Guest Eagan469 Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 that's it, we're starting the "Save Nova's Hair" campaign Well, if I was in WWE, I could see why they wouldn't want Tenacious Z around. He'll be ok as long as he doesn't fuck up any moves.
Guest JHawk Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 Correct if I'm wrong, but isn't Lance Cade's hair maybe shoulder length? Why doesn't WWE just have the "Baldinental Title" or something and have a hair limit to fight for it? It's like the WWE front office is the Borg or something. "Cut your hair if you wish to be assimilated. Resistance is futile."
Guest razazteca Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 is the WWE in the Mr Burns mentality of "shave those sideburns Hippie"?
Guest JHawk Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 I'm waiting for someone to bitch that "the one-legged dude didn't have to get his haircut".
Guest creativename Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 is the WWE in the Mr Burns mentality of "shave those sideburns Hippie"? Nah, Vince just thinks he's Steinbrenner. Only HHH and Don Mattingly have preferential hair treatment.
Guest OnlyMe Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 Nova invented haircuts and one legged wrestlers. I hate Nova jokes.
Guest the 1inch punch Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 I just want to point out, having seen him wrestle, Lance Cade is in DESPERATE need of a haircut
Guest deadbeater Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 Seeing some workers currently in the WWE, they need Tenacious Z to put them over.
Guest Anglesault Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 When did George buy the WWF?
Guest BoboBrazil Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 Nova already cut his hair short. I guess they are going to keep asking people to cut their hair until HHH is the only one with long hair.
Guest Human Fly Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 Wasn't the reason Stephanie told Nova to cut his hair because she thought he looked too much like HHH?
Guest teke184 Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 Apparently the haircuts will continue until morale improves. I'm guessing that will be after both Nash and Trips get their heads shaved, which will be when Hell freezes over unless someone slips them a mickey and does it as a rib.
Guest jester Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 Wasn't the reason Stephanie told Nova to cut his hair because she thought he looked too much like HHH? Maybe she slept with him accidentally.
Guest Basswitch Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 Did anyone else read that WWE told Doug Basham that he would not be called up any time soon. Thats got suck, thinking you're going up and then WWE going "Oh yeah, we don't need you, and we wont for a long time".
Guest Nevermortal Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 Wasn't the reason Stephanie told Nova to cut his hair because she thought he looked too much like HHH? Maybe she slept with him accidentally. Which can explain her increased weight. She's having a little Nova! And he's already invented the inner womb inverted kick, which no other fetus can attempt.
Mecha Mummy Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 Edge! Christian! Funaki! Cut your damn hair, you tree-huggers.
Mecha Mummy Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 Don't forget Kane! That damn hippie! ... Um... oh, wait... never mind.
Guest TonyJaymzReloaded Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 Man, that sucks. Basham is a pretty damn good wretsler. You notice they will bring up shit like 3MW but leave the talented guys like Dinsmore, Conway and Basham in OVW
Guest tetsubeav Posted February 23, 2003 Report Posted February 23, 2003 At least they ain't doing hair vs. hair matches for these. RAW and Smackdown would be full of them.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted February 23, 2003 Report Posted February 23, 2003 Yeah, I'd rather have Basham than Tenacious Z
Guest starvenger Posted February 23, 2003 Report Posted February 23, 2003 At least they ain't doing hair vs. hair matches for these. RAW and Smackdown would be full of them. Oh, I'm sure they're saving that for when Nash comes back...
Guest mach7 Posted February 23, 2003 Report Posted February 23, 2003 Yeah, I'd rather have Basham than Tenacious Z Ditto.
Guest razazteca Posted February 23, 2003 Report Posted February 23, 2003 At least they ain't doing hair vs. hair matches for these. RAW and Smackdown would be full of them. Oh, I'm sure they're saving that for when Nash comes back... Nash would be perfect for the Lucha Rules 2 out 3 hair matches
Guest El Satanico Posted February 23, 2003 Report Posted February 23, 2003 what the hell is the point of all this "you must cut your hair" crap. Is Vince trying to get Disney as a business Partner? I guess Vince decided that everyone must be identical. So now everyone will have the plain nondescript look of Lesnar, Bautista and all the other guys with the "new school" look. Fuck WWE is becoming part of the Abrecrombie Cult.
Guest ShooterJay Posted February 23, 2003 Report Posted February 23, 2003 Man, that sucks. Basham is a pretty damn good wretsler. You notice they will bring up shit like 3MW but leave the talented guys like Dinsmore, Conway and Basham in OVW That's because Basham and Conway are BLAND. (I haven't seen Dinsmore yet). 3MW at least have a uniqueness to them, they don't have much else-they should have been jobbed out and fired by now.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted February 23, 2003 Report Posted February 23, 2003 Basham managed to draw some decent heel heat in his couple Velocity matches, and seemed pretty comfortable in the ring. I haven't seen a lot of his work, but from his few Velocity matches, I liked what I saw.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted February 23, 2003 Report Posted February 23, 2003 I'm sorry....but this one legged wrestler thing.....I just don't see how it could work........I mean nobody will take him seriously. And the fans will either think "Man this sucks......" or "OH POOR BABY!" When he gets a heel beatdown on him they'll be saying things like "Dammit! He only has one leg!" The one leg thing will be an oddity......it shouldn't be pointed out like that though.
