One and Only Velocidential Thread

Recommended Posts

Then again I could never see the big deal about 7 . That game was incredibly boring to me, so maybe I share different tastes than most people.

I know what you mean. After reading a bunch of hype about it, I was ready to play a great game......but it was just.....boring. 'Course, I started to play it AFTER I started FF8, so perhaps that had something to do with it.

EDIT: 8 F'N PAGES for Velocidential? Wow...

Zidane was a poor main character and didn't really connect well to the player. Plus the bad guys were awful and dull. Vivi and Steiner was good characters though.

7 came close to be the worst to me... just the whole ending thing.. i worked soo hard.. and the story was soo good but then we get some useless ending which makes it seem not worth it at all... but the story leading up to the ending was great... i will never forget sephiroth killing aerith... that basturd

Steiner was extremely entertaining. I liked the light-hearted nature of the whole game.

I did something similar to that. Maybe I was just expecting too much or a lot of the staples of the game were used in other games I had played making them cliche by the time I played FF7. I much preferred 8. My guess about why people like 7 so much is because they loved Sephiroth, who did not do much for me.

Vivi was one of the best developed characters in any game. Steiner was kinda cool. I lost interest in the game, though, and never got around to finishing.

If he's perfect, why would he have to putt? If he was perfect, you would think he would get a hole-in-one all the time.

Oh yeah. That was my main problem with the game. I was like, "That's it." Plus my two favourite characters were optional and not in the ending, which seemed rather poorly done to me. I was into the game for a bit, but it seemed to drag on to the ending. Though, because of Final Fantasy 7, I ended up getting into Suikoden 2, which I loved, so I thank it for that.

Vincent and Yuffie were your faves? Bah--to each his or her own.

I want Suikoden II sooo bad. However, I didn't get it when it was out, and now the only place to find it is online, and costs a freakin' fortune.

He was just demonstrating a 40 foot putt. I'm sure he'd sink it from anywhere on the course. You know it, I know it, and each and every smart mark knows it.
