Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted February 23, 2003 i also cried when aerith died in FF7....almost did in FF10 I marked out when Aeris died. I HATED that character. I nearly cried during FF10. They did those swerves so perfectly.
Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2003 I nearly cried, too, although I was confused 'bout the whole 'dreaming' thing. But, it's one of those things that, once explained, you just go 'Ohhhhhhhhhhh! I get it now!' and feel dumb for NOT getting it sooner.
Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted February 23, 2003 Vincent and Yuffie were your faves? Bah--to each his or her own. Yeah. Vincent reminded me a bit of me for some reason, and I like Yuffie because I accidentally ended up having her be my most effective character being able to do more damage than most of my aeons in battle. I want Suikoden II sooo bad. However, I didn't get it when it was out, and now the only place to find it is online, and costs a freakin' fortune. Oh yeah. Easily my favourite RPG of all-time. Excellent game. Plus, it's rather shrot compared to others, so I have replayed it many times. I just wish 3 had better lived up to its legacy.

Yuffie was annoying to me and really weak (even her Level 4 Limit Break kinda sucked), and Vince was also way too weak, and his Breaks not very useful. Cloud sucked, Aerith didn't win me over, Tifa would have been better if she could use Blitz attacks like Sabin, and most of the others I didn't care for. Of course, other people thought Cid sucked, but I can understand that. I have Suikoden 1, and loved it. First next-gen RP I played, and loved to see a bitchin' mostly-2D game that had so much innovation. If only I can find a copy of II without paying out the ass. Guest deadbeater Report post Posted February 23, 2003 Tifa was my favorite in FF7. I had her always at limit break and do rolling cradle suplexes on dragons like a Diva should--as a counterattack. Fight's over and my side didn't have out turn yet. Anyway--back to Mr. Perfect. I liked the way he worked up to main event status even after the video packages, as opposed to hot-shotting like some people we know.
Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted February 23, 2003 If only I can find a copy of II without paying out the ass. Occasionally, I have noticed a few in the bargain bins of some stores that are trying to get rid of their PS1 games. That's how I ended up with the original Suikoden not too long ago. Guest JMFabiano524 Report post Posted February 23, 2003 That would be an interesting marriage. I could see Carrot Top going over Jericho... Be careful...we all know what happened the LAST TIME a 1-800-CALL ATT pitchman got involved in the wrestling business ;-)
Guest geniusMoment Report post Posted February 23, 2003 I have no clue what the hell you guys are talking about. I just clicked on page 9 and its like you guys are speaking in a foreign language or something. I guess thats what I get for not reading the other pages. My only gripe with confidential is I think they should have shown a classic perfect match in its entirety.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted February 23, 2003 ^^ Agreed. On EVERYTHING you just said. (<--Also clicked on page 9 and was mystified with the RPG talk) A classic match would have made my day.
Guest Polish_Rifle Report post Posted February 23, 2003 They should have Lita on Confidential more. She seems like a really down to earth and cool individual. Did you see her scooping up dog shit and mopping the floor? That just makes me respect her a hell of a lot more. Too bad about Mr. Perfect. I loved those old vignettes. It is a shame that wrestlers have to die before we get a heartfelt piece like that.

Guest deadbeater Report post Posted February 23, 2003 As opposed to Trish running around for 20 minutes being a dog?
