Guest papacita Report post Posted February 23, 2003 Whether he fights Lewis or not, I hope his next fight he works the body more instead of headhunting like he was.
Guest Ram Report post Posted February 23, 2003 Did the fight already go down? It's almost 7:30 p.m. out here, meaning it's 10:30 in Memphis. Did anyone watch the fight? It just turned 10:00 right now (in Mempho). That was ridiculously fast.
Guest Shanghai Kid Report post Posted February 23, 2003 Who ever thought this fight was going to be competitive anyways... Look out Lewis, here comes Tyson...again.
Guest Redhawk Report post Posted February 23, 2003 I really hope Mike fights someone else before he fights Lennox. Maybe the other Klitchsko brother (Vitali, the not-as-good one) or someone like Jameel McCline. He needs more than 49 seconds to prepare for Tyson-Lewis II
Guest Mad Dog Report post Posted February 23, 2003 Eh who cares. Lewis is just going to make him his personal bitch again.
Guest Redhawk Report post Posted February 23, 2003 Hey now. Mike's still a threat. I really think the main problem in Lewis-Tyson I was Mike wasn't mentally ready. He didn't have that fire he used to. If he gets that fire back, he can beat anyone.
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted February 23, 2003 I think my favorite was "Thank God he didn't hurt his leg"...after Cliff fell down funny after getting cracked. Mike is the man...he's a complete nut, but he's so good for comedy. I can't believe I was looking forward to this.

Zetterberg is God 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2003 She lost I'm very surprised at that. She was fighting an unexperienced opponent. While she isn't exactly a boxing veteran either, I was expecting her to kill her opponent.

Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 23, 2003 I watched the fight and It was fun to watch Tyson Rant...The rant was three times longer then the fight... Give Tyson, Tua or the other Klitschko brother before Lewis... I still can't believe they haven't attempted to neogotiate Tyson-Holyfield III...
Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted February 23, 2003 Tyson didn't sound to confident he could beat a top heavyweight. Even Tyson knew this wasn't that impressive a win for him.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 23, 2003 At least he was Honest...He didn't say any bullshit like "Lewis better get ready, Cuz I am coming after ya"... I say MAKE Tyson fight Ruiz, Klitchsko (The Lesser), Tua, Rahman and McCline...THEN Tyson can fight Lewis and then have the REAL big draw of Tyson-Holyfield III... Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted February 23, 2003 Exactly as I expected. Etienne looked like SHIT. He didn't even try to make it a fight. Like I said in the other thread, he was knocked out before this even started. Tyson needs to fight nothing but big super-heavies in preparation for a Lewis rematch. Vitaly Klitschko would be an excellent opponent in preparation. McCline clearly showed that he wasn't ready for the big time in his fight with Wladimir Klitschko, and would get killed by Tyson. Tua would be an interesting matchup, since both guys have the same build and all, but he doesn't have a chin, so it would be another flash KO. Rahman's a fluke chump that would get eaten by Tyson as well. The heavyweight division is AWFUL right now, though, so it's tough to find a guy to prepare Tyson for the inevitable. Lewis is too big, and too smart to let himself get into a slugfest with Mike. He boxed the brawler in their first fight, and completely schooled him bell to bell. Personally, I don't think Tyson can beat him, period. If they do it again, look for Mike to get knocked into "bolivian" again. Still, it's a money fight, and will probably happen sooner rather than later, but W. Klitschko should get first crack at Lennox. He's ready, and it would probably be a better boxing match, rather than a one sided beating. Still, I LOVE to hear Tyson run his mouth, and the post fight ranting was PRICELESS. I'm glad he admitted his weakness, rather than spout off about eating Lennox's children again. Clearly, Lewis got his respect in the first fight, and that would definitely carry over to a rematch. Tyson knows that Lennox isn't afraid of him.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted February 23, 2003 I don't think Tyson/Holyfield III would be as much of a draw as you'd think. The first one was a dirty, DIRTY fight full of headbutts and cheap shots from both guys (but Holyfield especially), and the second one was the pinnacle of bizarre crazy bullshit in a boxing ring. I seriously doubt Evander's camp would approve of a third fight. Anything Tyson does will be a money fight, but after the first two debacles, I doubt a third fight would do much. Guest alkeiper Report post Posted February 23, 2003 Tua would be an interesting matchup, since both guys have the same build and all, but he doesn't have a chin, so it would be another flash KO. He's never been knocked out. I think he can take a punch.
