Guest C-Bacon Posted March 19, 2002 Report Posted March 19, 2002 From WWF.com So don't miss RAW, tonight at 9/8 CT on TNN, live from Montreal! Don't miss it, or you're screwed! okay, so its a little funny. maybe its a sign of things to come? maybe not.
Guest teke184 Posted March 19, 2002 Report Posted March 19, 2002 It really doesn't surprise me because they typically do a Montreal Finish when they're in Canada (especially in Montreal or Calgary), and I'll bet that Jericho gets screwed when Steph yells "ring that fuckin' bell", which will turn HHH heel.
Guest goodhelmet Posted March 19, 2002 Report Posted March 19, 2002 Or Hogan turns on Rock in the Outsiders vs. Rock/Hogan matchup even though the time is NOW for a Rock heel change. Or they may wait for Backlash for the double-cross.
Guest The Masked Yodeler Posted March 19, 2002 Report Posted March 19, 2002 Or RVD gets screwed in his match against Christian, when Regal (he's a former commissioner, you know) yells "Ring the fuckin' bell"
Guest Tony149 Posted March 19, 2002 Report Posted March 19, 2002 Or Hogan turns on Rock in the Outsiders vs. Rock/Hogan matchup even though the time is NOW for a Rock heel change. Or they may wait for Backlash for the double-cross. Who knows. Maybe it ends up being The Rock who turns on Hogan tonight. With The Rock's movie coming out next month I doubt they'll turn him.
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted March 19, 2002 Report Posted March 19, 2002 Vince had to have heard all the boos Rock got. But with the movie coming out, he has to wait before turning him heel. I'm sure he and Hogan will be friends, tag for the next ppv, then he'll turn on him for the following ppv.
Guest dreamer420 Posted March 19, 2002 Report Posted March 19, 2002 Setting up Hogan vs. Rock 2 for Summerslam?
Guest Tony149 Posted March 19, 2002 Report Posted March 19, 2002 One would think we'll get Hogan vs. Austin sometime. If they go Rock/Hogan 2 at Summerslam...then Austin/Hogan should happen at Survivor Series, Royal Rumble or even WM 19. If booked right, Rock/Hogan 2 could pop a huge buyrate.
Guest Posted March 19, 2002 Report Posted March 19, 2002 I think last night was the screwjob in Canada, since every Canadian lost. I also still wanna see Angle/Hogan to declare the Real American Hero in an ultimate cheese match.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted March 19, 2002 Report Posted March 19, 2002 I think last night was the screwjob in Canada, since every Canadian lost edge won
Guest goodhelmet Posted March 19, 2002 Report Posted March 19, 2002 "edge won" Yeah, but Christian lost twice!!!!
Guest Ihatesmarksandmarks Posted March 19, 2002 Report Posted March 19, 2002 id mark out like a little bitch if rock turned heel tonight.....THAT would get the nwo angle over.
Guest Choken One Posted March 19, 2002 Report Posted March 19, 2002 Interesting Line there and I love how they were poking fun at Montreal's expense. The only thing Montreal will ever be known for was THAT MATCH, not for that fucking horrible block of concrete.
Guest Ihatesmarksandmarks Posted March 19, 2002 Report Posted March 19, 2002 choken one montreal is still a haven for college kids under the age of 21 in New England......Actually raw in montreal during spring break would have been the perfect spring break trip if i had the dinero....
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted March 19, 2002 Report Posted March 19, 2002 I feel that the Rock should turn on Hogan and join the NWo. Let him lead them...Although they should have done it last might when the crowd was hot and Hogan was posing. I actually thought they would. Silly me.
Guest One Bad Apple Posted March 19, 2002 Report Posted March 19, 2002 I can't believe you called it "dinero." That is so cool. That wwf.com blurb just makes me sympathize with Bret even more. It's been said many times that he just needs to let it go, but it's not like the WWF has. Personally, I'd like Hogan to swerve Rock soon. Not because it'd be cool to see, but because I don't think the nWo should've turned on him last night in the first place. I like Hogan, but the "Real American" character doesn't have much left in the tank. I guess he could use the Hollywood persona as a face, but it's better with him as bad guy. There's still a lot of places they go with the nWo, and with only Hall and Nash, it's over. I don't think they'll put the kibosh on it that quick, so if this wasn't a silly ambush, I'd expect Triple H or Rock to turn soon. Rock could happen, and the best time to do it would be tonight. It'd be shocking and logical at the same time. Problem is, I think he'd struggle more in terms of keeping down any cheers than even Austin. Plus the movie, as has been mentioned. I feel Triple H is a stronger possibility to go bad, even though I don't exactly know what his motivation would be. I don't why I think that ... I just do. I didn't see WrestleMania, but a good thing about it was that almost every match was a tossup. The unpredictability, coupled with the split, makes me more interested in what's gonna happen on Raw. I hope they give a fairly reasonable explaination for any surprises, though.
