Recommended Posts

Alright, here are the results for the No Way Out PPV Gambling Thread! TajiriTheJapBuzzkill was taken out for failing to change his bets to meet his monetary alotment. So, ArchoanJB will replace him. Big thanks to the Electrifyer on hooking us up with that free live feed for Rock/Hogan, hopefully he can get us Mania' for free. With that said, it seems most everyone did pretty well this time around, no surprise there.

As for the next round, the WrestleMania edition of the PPV gambling thread, I will be making some changes. The rules will be as follows:

1--You can now make bets up to $500 on any one match. These bets must be divisible by 50. (50, 100, 150, ect.)

2--You have to bet at least $400 on each show to avoid sandbagging. Those with less than $400 in the bank must bet all the money they have.

3--You must bet on every match. This will help with people just betting on matches whose outcome is obvious, and not the ones that are up in the air.

4--To place your bets, simply cut & paste from the card below and put the amount you’re gambling next to the match.

5--No-contests, Double DQs, double count-outs, time-limit draws etc. result in a no win/no lose situation and negate the bet.

6--Anyone who drops down to $0 in the bank is not allowed back in – they must live with the stigma of being a stupid wrestling fan until the day they die.

7--Betting will be closed 30-60 minutes before the PPV, but you may edit your bets in the thread up until that time. Anyone caught betting after that time will be disqualified.

8--Those who make enough to stay on till next month will get a $100 survival reward.

9--I haven't decided whether or not to open this to more people next month, if I do though, it will be the first 5 to respond to the WrestleMania Gambling Thread.

So, thoughts on these new rules? Suggestions? Comments?

That was fun. I'll definitely keep playing.

Props to whoever came up with the original gambling thread idea.

WOO-HOO! 6 out of 8...not bad considering I doubted Mattitude and expected a 'creative finish' in the Bischoff-Austin match. Makes up for the screw-up I made of the Rumble.

The changes look good...should make it more interesting.
