Guest Grand Slam

SWF Smarkdown!

LIVE from the SOLD-OUT Staples Center in Los Angeles, California!

All matches due Friday 2-28-2003 at 5:00 PM Eastern Time (no extensions)

Send all matches, promos and booking requests to Suicide King

Opening Promo

Xero

Hardcore Match

Annie Eclectic v. "TNT" Taylor Nicholas Thompson

Annie was not particuarly happy with the job TNT did as a special referee on Sunday and requested this match. King wasn't exactly happy either, but for a whole different reason, and granted her request.

Rules: Hardcore rules... which is to say "Anything goes, Falls count anywhere"

Word Limit: 4500

Send to: Grand Slam

Singles Match

Longdogger Pete v. Tom "The Superior One" Flesher

There is a possibility that LDP might not be able to make it to the show. Given the choice between this match and a night off, Tom decided the chance for a default win to boost his rankings was too much to pass up. LDP, let me (Grand Slam) know if you can show. I seem to remember reading somewhere that you were going on a "sabbatical".

Rules: Standard Singles Match (DQ & Countout in effect)

Word Limit: 4000

Send To: chirs3

Triple Threat Match - #1 Contendership to the U.S. Title

Wildchild v. Micheal Craven v. Fugue

It is time to figure out who will face Danny next for the U.S. Title he has dominated for so long. All three of these guys have massive upside potential and could become real forces in the Fed. Who will be standing tall when the final bell rings?

Rules: Triple Threat rules (not elimination, first pin wins) DQ and Countout are theoretically in effect.

Word Limit: 5500

Send To: TheBostonStrangler

Singles Match for the U.S. Title

Danny Williams © v. Johnny "The Barracuda" Dangerous

Danny wants to be a fighting champ, but King, heel commish that he is, wants him to hang onto the title as long as possible. So while Mak is otherwise occupied later in the night, he is feeding Johnny to the hard-hitting Danny Williams. But don't underestimate the Barracuda...

Rules: Standard singles match (DQ and Countout in effect)

Word Limit: 6000

Send to: Suicide King

Special Non-Title Boxing Match

Frost v. El Luchador Magnifico

Frost has challenged ELM to a boxing match! A Boxing match!! ELM, for the pride of Mexico, has accepted. It'll be a rumble to beat them all as the Icelandic monster takes on a... ummm... small Mexican man. Yikes.

Rules: Boxing rules apply. No low-blows, no rabbit punches, 10 two minute rounds, etc. Any questions, just ask me.

Word Limit: 6000

Send to: Grand Slam

Main Event

#1 Contendership to the Tag Team Titles

CIA & Mak Francis v. Judge Mental & Ejiro Fasaki

Here it is. The match we have been waiting for. The winner of this will go on to face the nearly unbeatable combo of Flesher / Frost for the SWF Tag Team Titles. This should be a Rocket Buster!!

Rules: Standard Tag Rules apply (DQ & Countout in effect. One person per team in the ring at a time. Don't forget the tag Ropes.)

Word Limit: 6000

Send to: TheBostonStrangler

Hmm... I've never faced Pete before.

If he can't show, just let me know and I'll turn it into....

pause...

wait for it...

A FEW MINUTES WITH TOM FLESHER™~!

Fugue, Craven and Wildchild have seen a lot of each other recently, and I'd hope their matches all reflect this. That is to say, I'd hope they all employ elementary psychology. Put another way... guys, please come up with inventive counters for stuff. ;)

Danny may well crack Johnny's skull. I'll be excited to see what he does with the Barracuda.

The boxing match is far above comment on my part.

And, finally, here's hoping Judjiro gets off to a further good start. (Y)

We have? I don't know from Michael Craven, and I've never actually wrestled Fugue, aside from two tag matches. But, a triple threat works for me; it allows me to bypass the shortcomings in my writing, so (Y).

EDIT - Upon further review... uh, so can someone describe the Breaking Point to me? I'm totally unable to visualize this move... Also, the Craven Cutter is basically a Samoan Neckbreaker, right?

You have because I say you have.

The Breaking Point is a cradle square driver. Basically, it's a cradle piledriver but with the opponent facing you instead of away, or, alternatively, a sit-out cradle tombstone.

The Craven Cutter, iirc, is like an F5, only spinning the other way into a diamond cutter.

Surely is wasn't because of my recent plague of no-showing... uh... right!?

Actually, I was referring to the fact that, in the match, you called it pretty fair. You missed the ending in what could have been an honest mistake. Annie is upset because she thinks you cheated. King is upset because you didn't cheat enough and let ELM and Annie get mauled.

Isn't that an Ace Crusher?

I've been wanting to try a boxing match for sometime and made the suggestion to Grand Slam since Frost doesn't really have anything else to do on this show. Thanks for giving it a shot. I think it will be fun and I'm glad ELM approve. Although lord knows I'll probably blow half my word limit setting up weird celebrity judges, referees and corner men.

Unless this thing is due last Friday, it's the 28th, not the 21st. Date has been changed.

- Thanks for covering me TBS. It was really early when I wrote this card and I'm suprised I didn't screw more up.

The move that Owen used to break Austin's neck, the Owen Driver 97, is a sit down Tombstone. Same thing but instead of the attacker having both hands locked around the victims lower back, the attacker has his one arm hooked between the victims legs like for a scoop slam.

Well, I'm not really active, but I'm not going to pass up a free shot at Taamo. So I'll give it a shot.

And just to remind everyone, including this show there are 3 shows left before the next PPV, so get those feuds going into high gear if you want a PPV match!
