Now that Oz is over?

I haven't seen everything, but I'll have to go with Season 2. I found the season finale even more captivating than The Riot of season 1, mostly because of three compelling characters...Miguel Alvarez, Adebisi and Beecher.

I really can't pick a favorite between 1-3. I think season 2 isn't my fav just cause Ryan's gone through so much of it with his cancer treatement.

And now I think I'm done with this thread, cause I don't want spoilers...for I am only 12 eps into season 4 (watching them at a friend's house, he gets them off Kazaa)

For me, I can't differentiate what I saw into seasons. I just blazed through the entire series real quick (with the exception of season 1, I watched the whole series in about 2 weeks) and it all just bleeds together.

not quite 2 weeks for me, but i did rush through the last 2-3 seasons in prep for 6 (if only we did the planned marathon. damn keith and/or mac) i'd probably have to say 2(what, I agree with damian?) with 4a being a very close second

Seasons 1 to 3 were by far the best in terms of the quality in the writing and the lack of over the top antics (aging pill anyone) that were shown in the last couple of seasons.

Season 2 captured the real grittiness of the prison's and just how Hellish it can be when all of the inmates want to kill one another.

Just brutal.

Right now I'm 2 episodes into season 5...people are just dying left and right. In the early seasons it meant more when someone died, just not the case as the show goes on.
