Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted February 28, 2003 Hey AoO, I've played the game...eh. Dames ... Still impeached. And kudos to the guy that mentioned the suckage of Super Smash Brothers. I fucking HATE that game. It's a platform game disguised as a fighter, it's repetitive, the "fighting" is fuckin' ghey, and you only die when you fly off the screen. Hate Hate Hate. Guest KoR Fungus Report post Posted February 28, 2003 Yeah, add me to the SSB hating bandwagon. The game is shallow, dull and repetitive, and I can't believe the amount of time that people put into playing it. Having friends make me turn off TK3 or SC to switch to SSB was very, very irritating. Guest Samurai_Goat Report post Posted February 28, 2003 Yea, Majora's mask was a major dissapointment. I mean, it was 90% side quest. Screw it, the game felt like 100% side quest. You weren't there to save the world, you were there to get the mailman hat, dammit!
Guest The Hamburglar Report post Posted February 28, 2003 I like to consider myself an open-minded person, receptive to the views of others....but I cannot hold to that when people say Ocarina of Time, Metal Gear Solid 1&2 and FFVII aren't good games. Such people are wrong, wrong, wrong and I harbour deep hatred of them all, regardless of how charming and intelligent they might be. The aforementioned games fucking rule. These games fucking suck: Am I the first person to note how utterly shite Gran Turismo in all its forms is? Pretty graphics, big whoop, the actual driving is slow, dull and unresponsive. I don't care about wanking off over engines, gimme speed. Tomb Raider also sucks. It just does. Mouse and keyboard control on PCs. Its fucking ridiculous. No, its not intuitive, and it makes a total mockery of any in-game inertia or gravity. Can't stand it, I'll take a console controller any day. On Final Fantasy VIII: Despite having a slightly duff stat system of junctioning, the first half of the game is still really great, epic stuff. The attack on Balamb garden is simply awesome. After that, the game goes completely to shit apart from the moon bit, which is cool. The plot and the characters descend into deep arse, and there's nothing more frustrating to have a completely bland main nemesis randomly appear and be shite. Definitely a mixed bag, that one.
