I didn't even know he'd been let go by the Mets. Anyway, I know he can't hit off a tee, but he's always been one of my favorite players because of his defense. What went wrong in New York for him? (ie. Spos or teh Fish) - Will Jose Reyes overtake Rey Sanchez during the year? - Who's next to be sent away from Montreal? - How bad will the Rays be with REY F'N ORDONEZ as their #2 hitter? - Which new manager will do the best and worst? - Will the Red Sox make it far in the playoffs only to have their hearts broken yet a-gayn? - Will the relationship between Emperor Steinbrenner and Derek Jeter become further strained? - Which manager will hear the words "YOU'RE........FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRED!" first? - Will the Giants or Angels make it back to the World Series? I think Alomar will be better. The others I don't think are all that great anymore. No. The Marlins will be around .500. the Expos will be a suprise but than trail off. He should start the season. What do the Royals have to lose. Vazquel will be traded. Rey Ordonez should be the 9th hitter. The D-Rays have some good young prospects. Carl Crawford played well last year, and the Italian kid is supposed to be good. Ken Macha for the A's and Ned Yost in Milwaukee The Red Sox won't make the playoffs. Yes. When the Yankees don't win for the 3rd year, Steinbrenner will officially go nuts. Depends on the start some teams have. The Mets dealt him for Russ Johnson. They replaced him with Rey Sanchez, a comparable fielder and superior hitter. Plus, he doesn't make stupid comments to the NY press about how stupid the fans are.
