Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted February 26, 2003 Last week, Vince Russo showed up at Jeff Jarrett's house just after Jarrett's successful title defense against AJ Styles. Did Russo actually go in? Did he encounter Jarrett's wife and children as he said he intended to? The tale of Vince Russo and S.E.X. gets more twisted and disturbing each passing week. We'll find out this Wednesday exactly what happened. oh god, this is going to be terrible. It's just like when Russo went to Ric Flair's house and tried on his robes and crap...who says Russo doesn't repeat his own ideas? Jerry Lynn met and defeated the SAT last week in a thrilling contest. Now Konnan has promised to bring in a surprise luchadore to face Lynn and prove who has bragging rights to the X Division. And don't forget, Konnan wields that Singapore cane every chance he gets. Hopefully, Lynn has a few friends of his own watching his back! Probably Juvy. They seem to drop hints that Sandman will be partnered with Lynn too. And speaking of friends, Dusty Rhodes called in old pal Vader to the side of traditional wrestling last week. Now the pair face off with one of the most hated duos in wrestling, The Harris Brothers. Many have speculated that Rhodes and Vader's best days are behind them, especially against the onslaught of the powerful Harris twins. But don't count out the edge of experience in this fight! it was fun to see Vader show up, but I don't see how this match can be anything but horrible All this and MORE Wednesday night!!! Yeah, well why not announce more? How about a challenger for Kash's X-title? Are XXX getting that match with AMW this week? I'm thinking XXX is gonna be in Japan, and theyre short on talent meaning this week is gonna be a Russofest of storylines, as evidence by the emphais on the shocking actions of Russo at Jarret's house. Tonight's line-up: *Vader & Dusty Rhodes vs. Ron & Don Harris *Jerry Lynn vs. Juventud Guerrera *Kid Kash vs. Jason Cross for the X Division title The scheduled tag team title match with Chris Harris & James Storm challenging XXX for the belts won't be taking place as originally scheduled. They couldn't get two of the three guys needed for a title defense. Christopher Daniels is at the OVW camp in Louisville this week, while Low Ki is in Japan. I believe all three members will be available next week so the match will likely take place then. Lynn v. Juvi should be good........heard that Guererra has really been stepping it up in the last few months, I guess. I kind of like it when not many matches is announced, actually. Guest ShooterJay Report post Posted February 27, 2003 I have zero faith in Juvi, but Lynn should be able to pull a good match out of him. Have they been working each other in XPW? If they've worked each other recently, it should be solid. I'd be interested to see the Cross/Kash match. I have yet to see any substance to the Cross hype (Styles Clash keeps insisting Cross is better than AJ) but this is the first time he's had a capable 1-on-1 opponent in TNA. Kash has definitely lost something since ECW, and I don't think he should be X Division champ (Red should be), but he's still better than Siaki.
