I read about this earlier. Very sad.

But as I said in chat, on the happy side, Mr. Dress Up and Mr. Rogers may now continue their never-ending fate duel in heaven.

God Bless Mr. Rogers.

I watched his show when I was a wee one.

I read a news story once where somebody stole Mr. Rogers' car by breaking the window and hotwiring it. It was a 12 year old Oldsmobile. The next day, the car was returned with the window replaced, and a note on the windshield saying "Sorry. We didn't know it was YOUR car". Everyone loved Mr. Rogers. I'll miss the guy. His show rocked it all.

I'm humored by the possibitities of Curt Hennig and Mr. Rogers interacting with each other up in Heaven.

"See, Fred, you just hook the arm, and be sure to hold on for the bridge..."

Mr. Rogers = the master pimp.

He lived like ten minutes from where I went to school in Pittsburgh. I've been by his studioes and a guy I knew in college took a guitar class from the guy that owned the music store on the show.

That operetta they did about the town with the bubbles and the wind that looked like Rip Taylor coming to blow them away was one of the trippiest things I have ever seen.

This truly sucks. I remember watching him as a kid, and I'm kinda still shocked that someone so timeless can die. I know that he was a member of one of the Fraternities I'm pledged to, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, so I'm sure that I'll be involved in some sort of respectful service this week.

Oh my god, no... that man was so awesome. He could do anything he wanted.

Yet he chose to help children.

Bless him.
