Probably. I don't watch the WWE anymore. I stopped watching wrestling

back in 1998, i think right around the time that Mick Foley won his

first championship (which I saw live at the Wuhstuh Centrum). Soon after

I just stopped watching. Graduated college, started looking for a job,

etc etc. It's tough to get back in after you've been out for awhile. I watched

it back in the 80s heyday and stopped soonafter the WM6 hogan/warrior

match. And about 10 years later, got swept up in the NWO/WCW war.

I dunno, maybe I'm just a bandwagon jumper, only like it when it's

really popular. Anyways, am I the only guy on the board that doesnt

really follow the current events of WWE/TNA/ etc etc?

LOL -- I think there are a few more non-wrestling fans at this board than there was a year or so ago.

 

I still watch wrestling, but not nearly as much as I used to. Before I'd always watch Raw and Smackdown, but now I'd probably watch 20 or so minutes of each nowadays...

I haven't watched jack shit since December. Before that, I'd occasionally watch SD every now and then, and even then I didn't sit through the whole thing.

 

It isn't just the crappy state of the WWE--I don't care about wrestling AT ALL now.

I don't really watch or tape shows anymore, ut I guess I watch more than a number of people do. For instance, I'll *always* have RAW on just 'cause I want to watch Nowinski wrestle.

 

But, uhm, yeah. I'm still a fan, but I'm agonizing over not watching a full show every week. I miss it.

I do try to watch some of my old wrestling videos from time to time though.

I watch a show once a month or something like that. I'm just not feelin' the product. Too bad Monday Night Football isn't on anymore... that was more exciting than Raw.

I don't watch Raw, but I watch Smackdown on tape, Velocity/Confidential on saturday and Heat on Sunday.

 

I guess I'm a faithful fan. I'm a busy guy, too, sometimes I'll be up until 4AM watching the last month of Smackdown on tape.

I have stoped watching myself, but I didn't know everyone else had. I still read the recaps every week. I think WWe would have to get REALLY good for me to get into it as much as I was in 2000. I can't even remember if it was that good then. Was it?

I watch both RAW and Smackdown! plus all of the PPVs. Oh yea, don't forget Confidential, Velocity, and Heat. Aaaand the Bottom Line and superstars and the smackdown review show......oh yea, plus every single TNA PPV. Erm, I think that covers the wrestling I watch live, I haven't even to9uched on the amount I watched on tape and dvd.

I tape both shows, but pretty much only watch if I hear something good about them. I watch pay-per-views whenever I can see them for free, either at a bar/restaurant or a friend's house.

I watch all the PPVs, and when I'm home I watch Raw, SmackDown and the occasional TNA show. No cable while I'm away at school means I miss most of the shows, but I have a friend back home tape most of the stuff for me, and I'll skim through them every now and then when I pick them up.

I still watch a bit of wrestling, but nowhere near as much as i used to, due to a combination of having no time, the shitty product and the WWE taking PPV's and Smackdown away from Australia. I still try and read up on what's happening, but if i miss anything i don't worry about it much.

I don't have cable anymore. Not that I care, I've thought the product has been getting worse since the head writer left back in the fall of 2000 and Stephanie McMahon took over has head writer.

I Still watch RAW and Smackdown, but only because theres never anything good on between the hours of Midnight and 2am Monday and Wednesday Nights.

I watch about an hour of RAW and an hour of Smackdown each week and I always watch Confidential. Am not interested in TNA anymore after the hiring of Russo. But I still try to attend every local indy show and every WWE show in the area (April 26th Booker T. Vs Chris Jericho,Cumberland County Civic Center. Fuck Yeah!)

Wow, that really suprises me that half of you guys don't watch wrestling anymore. I mean, aren't ya guys HARDCORE wrestling fans, and will watch it through anytime?

 

I'll never stop watching it, I might pay less attention to it when it's on, but I'll always watch wrestling till it go to my grave.

Yeah, I still watch RAW and Smackdown every week, sometimes missing parts of Smackdown when I go to high school hockey games. Overall, I do find myself getting bored with wrestling, since everything is stuck in neutral.
