Zetterberg is God Posted February 28, 2003 Report Posted February 28, 2003 Dr. Tom Prichard and Kevin Kelly also asked The Rock what went down about the rumors of Goldberg meeting him on the set of his movie and what the status of Goldberg to WWE was. Rock said he had been making phone calls, setting up meetings, and doing everything possible to help further the movement in negotiations between Goldberg and WWE. In regards to the current status of the Goldberg/WWE negotiations, The Rock said "things are looking good. I don't know for sure, but from what I hear, things are really looking good." Credit WWE.com
Guest CanadianChick Posted February 28, 2003 Report Posted February 28, 2003 Okay, so what if WWE does sign Goldberg? He will feud with Rock, right? So who will Austin feud with?
Guest HartFan86 Posted March 1, 2003 Report Posted March 1, 2003 Why is the Rock hell bent on bringing in Goldberg? I don't get it.
Guest Brian Posted March 1, 2003 Report Posted March 1, 2003 Because Rock wants a big drawing feud where he can be the focus. Same reason he ended up with Austin.
Guest Y2DAYDAY Posted March 1, 2003 Report Posted March 1, 2003 If Goldberg is in, you can count on Rock vs Goldberg at Backlash. I think that is what he meant by "possibly" working Backlash.
Guest SP-1 Posted March 1, 2003 Report Posted March 1, 2003 If they sign Goldberg, chances are Goldy interferes at Mania and costs Rock the match. This is NOT how I want a Rock/Austin match to go.
Guest THE MIGHTY THOR Posted March 1, 2003 Report Posted March 1, 2003 Goldberg comes in and takes the spot of a much talented wrestler.
Guest Trivia247 Posted March 1, 2003 Report Posted March 1, 2003 SO Glad Rock the Lord n savior can move heaven and earth to bring in SHITberg in to SQUASH the other half of the roster that Undertaker, HHH, Brock, and the Rock himself don't do themselves.
Guest notJames Posted March 1, 2003 Report Posted March 1, 2003 Correction: Goldberg wouldn't lower himself to work with half the roster. I'm sure the feeling is mutual.
Guest Austin3164life Posted March 1, 2003 Report Posted March 1, 2003 One of the only dream matches left is Austin v. Goldberg, but I doubt that would happen, since Rock is the one part of the negotiations. At this point, Goldberg should just stay home.
Guest Trivia247 Posted March 1, 2003 Report Posted March 1, 2003 Goldberg proclaimed he doesn't want to job to Brock or HHH which means he doesn't ever want to lose to them in ANY MATCH AT ALL While Contracted under the WWE. I don't care how big some guy is elsewhere you don't Make demands like that going into a Promotion.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted March 1, 2003 Report Posted March 1, 2003 This is about the exact same thing that was reported months ago. None of this means anything till he's in a WWE ring.
Guest Brian Posted March 1, 2003 Report Posted March 1, 2003 I'd actually like to see Goldberg get shot on by Brock. Anyways, it was about time for Rock to start playing politics.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted March 1, 2003 Report Posted March 1, 2003 Oh man, if Goldberg worked with Austin, broke Austin's neck, then got fired for it.... Pure. Wrestling. Bliss. (Note: Slight sarcasm. I don't really wish pain upon others) (Note 2: Brock stiffing Goldberg to hell like he does with some people would actually be enjoyable to watch. I can't deny it.)
Guest Choken One Posted March 1, 2003 Report Posted March 1, 2003 Maybe we should give rock leeway here...He never played Politics before like The rest of the Fantastic 4...He should have a shot at it...
Guest wwF1587 Posted March 1, 2003 Report Posted March 1, 2003 3 Words describe how I feel about this WASTE OF MONEY 3 letters describe the WWE if they go along with this W C W ::sigh::
