Combat Zone Wrestling RETURNS to the Viking Hall for CZW Divide & Conquer.  This will be one show you will not want to miss.  It seems that prophecies continue to be fulfilled, even after CZW Uncivilized.  If you wonder what I am talking about, then check out the footage from December 28, 2002 and CZW One More Time!

one question to steal a phrase. watsupwitdat? ;)

from pwbts.com

Further, XPW has been evicted by the owners of Viking Hall due to violations of the agreement signed to lease the building.

These violations included concerts held prior to 2 XPW shows. Further, the renovations that XPW had outlined as a reason they were not to be running for the next two months included plans for storage areas for elements of the adult film company, Extreme Associates; also a violation of the agreement signed.

cant that mr. black fella play nice with anyone

[Eric Forman] I think I can say, without exaggeration, that this is the greatest moment in the history, of time. [/Eric Forman]

You go away for a day (stupid power failures) and shit hits the fan again.

Guess I can add Viking Hall back onto my list of places to visit before I die.

Wait for the smell to clear out first.

I'm taking the negative side here. So many promotions have run there before that it's worthless now. CZW did admittedly do the best job of trying something new with it (getting a new entrance setup, etc.), but Viking Hall, whenever an indy runs it, is now just another building. The memories are there from ECW-past, but it's like going to a Knicks game and thinking that you're going to have the exact same experience as going to a WWE show at the same building: it just isn't happening. So, in conclusion, is this good? NO.

Given my ..mostly anti XPW Stance, I really have nothing to add here. I felt at the time that it was an inncredibly mean thing for XPW to do, by restricting other promotions from using the building, but at the same time, every other two-bit indy that uses the place is like "Hey, wer'e in the ECW ARENA, man. I'm positive the regulars at Viking Hall were sick of that attitude in what they saw. Realistically everyone knew XPW would never keep a stranglehold on the Arena, but I am surprised it happened this quick.

On the down side for XPW, they are gonna be restricted in some of the talent they use. I'm sure Ethan would agree if I said that one of the reasons they were able to attract big-ger names was because they were in the ECW Arena *coughRAVENcough*

Victory for the Philly Rebellion, I guess

I doubt Raven really gave a sh*t about XPW running in the ECW Arena. If he came to XPW because they were running in Viking Hall, then why would he choose to debut at the Los Angeles show? I think it's more about the money than anything, but I'm surprised that even though Raven worked in XPW, RoH is still going to use him for their next show.

Interesting note: Rob Feinstein handles Raven's indy bookings, yet he let him work XPW. What the fuck?

Uh, yeah! I paid 35 for it (yeah, I contacted SMV, and sent them the extra money), and I still feel like SMV didn't charge me enough. Lucky bastard.

Hey Styles_Clash, I recently bought IWA Mid-South Ted Petty Invitational Night 1-2 for $10 each, was it worth it?

Only if they're masters...otherwise you could've gotten a better deal.

Yeah, they're masters. I bought them along with Best of WCW Cruiserweights for a total of $30.

Great buy then

Well, you get a good deal on that, but who's the one that's definately going to IWA Mid-South this Friday and on the 28th? Me, me, me!

I would imagine quite a bit of money, and I doubt they will ever hold another show in Viking Hall again.

Which pleases me...

P.S. This thread, and every other one in the indy forum will end with a Chunk post no matter what :D , not a knock on ya or anything, but I checked the indy page and you had the last post on every single message.

Yeah, sorry about that. I've been unable to log onto the site for about 2 weeks because of the huge ass uni assignment I had. So this afternoon I spent about 2 hours reading all the back posts, to catch up. I just replies as usual, and then looked back and realised that I had replied to a load of posts.

Ive just done it again havent I :D At least you know why now.
