Guest The Last Free Voice Posted March 8, 2003 Report Posted March 8, 2003 it would be a b2b to Ganso bomb more or less
Guest Dace59 Posted March 8, 2003 Report Posted March 8, 2003 You're face to face with the opp, and you lean back to throw them overhead. It just doesn't seem humanly possbile to bring them back the other way and flip them down into a Powerbomb. And as for pulling a Ganso Bomb out of it, not happening. If you're even thinking of a Ganso Bomb and not the JKVSDP from Misawa/Kawada.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted March 8, 2003 Report Posted March 8, 2003 I think he means that you get the opponent in a Belly-to-Belly position, toss them up, turn so you're flipping them over, but catch their leg and dive into a powerbomb. I know that seems possible, at least.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted March 8, 2003 Report Posted March 8, 2003 I think that'd end up more like a rotating powerslam than anything else. You'd only be able to control the body enough to transition into the powerbomb if the victim was really, really small.
Guest The Last Free Voice Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 you toss them strait up, not overhead.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 Then that's just more of a pancake powerbomb...
Guest The Last Free Voice Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 okay. you toss them strai up, he flipslike he would ranna you, but you powerbomb him instead. it's more theoretical that anything.
Guest Dace59 Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 If you toss them straight up, you aren't doing a belly to belly. You're doing some sort of flapjack.
Guest The Last Free Voice Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 you hook them like an overhead belly to belly, throw them up but not over, have them spin like it would be a ranna, then powerbomb them.
Guest Dace59 Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 Look, the bio-machanics just dont back it possible. Right, you hook them like a belly to belly. Face to Face, arms wraped under theres. The ONLY ways you can throw them are: Twist to the side and throw them to the side. Or Throw them overhead, as you arch back and drop to the mat. In that possistion, you can't throw them up veritcally, or even forwards. And if you throw them backwards, over head, you fall back too.
Guest The Last Free Voice Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 i guess it's easyer ith action figures.
Guest saturnmark4life Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 An elevated derailer would be nice, whereby the hoss in question brought them up like a regular powerbomb before sitting out with the double choke from a greater height. It would look a lot nastier too, though you'd need pretty big arms...
Guest Dace59 Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 Also know as a MEB with two arms instead of one.
Guest The Metal Maniac Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 What if you took the idea of a Belly to Belly Powerbomb and made it a tag finisher? One guy tosses the Opp. in a belly to belly, he arcs it as best he can, so he manages to land in a position to be powerbombed by the attacker's teammate, standing behind him. I think that's substantially more possible, though you'd still need someone small (Like Rey Jr., who seems to be able to land in a rana/powerbomb position from any angle...) to hit it on.
Guest saturnmark4life Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 That would work nicely for Team Angle, but you would need someone of rey's experience to take it, yeah. Why not just do it with him, it'd kick ass.
Guest Nevermortal Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 THREAD RESURRECTION~! New spot: Someone's sitting on the top rope. The attacker hooks their feet underneath the top, uppercuts them so that they fall backwards, upper back on the post. The attacker goes to the apron and stands on the steel steps. They grab the opponent's arms and pull backwards, using the post to drive steel into the back of the opponent, working the upper back & arms. The ability to do this would be effected by the distance between the top turnbuckle and the post, and whether or not there are steps near the post. I don't know if anyone has done this before. If not, I'm calling it the "Steel Surfboard".
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 I'm sure this spot's been done before... But Wrestler A is whipped into the ropes. He jumps onto the second rope, and performs a moonsault off of it. In mid-air, Wrestler B lariats the FUCK out of Wrestler A, while Wrestler A is upside down. Imagine the path Wrestler A would take on his way down to the mat...
Guest Dace59 Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 The surfboard on the ring post has been done. The knocking someone out of mid moonsault I've seen with a Spear and a Yakuza Kick.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 (edited) Start off in Roll Of The Dice Position, then spin person around but instead of finishing the move, finish via Ace Crusher. Sorry, I'm lazy and don't wanna go out of my way to explain further. Front face lock into a Diamond Dust. Otherwise called SDD (Standing Diamond Dust). And yes, both moves have probably been done. Although, I'm less certain about the first move. Edited April 11, 2003 by Lightning Flik
Guest the 1inch punch Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 Belly-to-Belly into a Diamond cutter
Guest Dace59 Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 Belly to Belly to Diamond Cutter? Pretty much impossible. Roll the Dice/Last Rites IS an ACe Crusher. So it ends as one anyway. If you mean end Stunner style, or original Ace Crusher style, that's the N-Stunner. Please tell me how you'll get from the front face lock to the inveted facelock for the diamond duster. Inverted Diamond Dust has been done, and standing normal and inverted.

Inverted Diamond Dust has been done, and standing normal and inverted. Yup. Meant Stunner style. Sorry. I should've put Stunner instead of Ace Crusher. My bad. N-Stunner though? That's kind of a silly name for it. I thought someone would've given it a cooler name then attaching an N- to Stunner. That's why I asked. Hm... Geez... Anyone know the proper name for this? Brainbuster into backbreaker (actually, the opponent's shoulder blade/neck area gets drilled with the knee and not the back per se). I remember thinking about this move and haven't heard of anyone telling me that it has been used (but of course it has some time down the line, all moves do) and what it's original name is yet.
Guest Dace59 Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 You mean like Kid Kash's Bankroll, or Johnny Kashmer's Cradle Breaker? It'd be <Whatever set up move is, Fishermans, Inverted Fishermans Cradel, Suplex> To <Whatever, shoulder, neck, back, Breaker>
Guest Lightning Flik Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 You mean like Kid Kash's Bankroll, or Johnny Kashmer's Cradle Breaker? It'd be <Whatever set up move is, Fishermans, Inverted Fishermans Cradel, Suplex> To <Whatever, shoulder, neck, back, Breaker> I've only seen the WWE so I've got no idea what those two moves look like, but I've heard about the Bankroll and it is akin to something like that, yes. A move floating into another move. Move goes like from Brainbuster (Goldberg's Jackhammer if you need a better visualisation) into a Backbreaker (yet again, the knee hits more closely to the neck then the back). But I was figuring there was some original name to it, because I certainly couldn't have thought of a move that no one has thought of trying.
Guest Dace59 Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 Bankroll, pick up for fishermans suplex, hold opp over head, adn drop to one knees, driving opp forwards, so their neck/shoulders/upper back lands on your knee (the opp is still facing out from you) So would you move swing the opp round so they land like a normal backbreaker, paralell to the mat, or does the opp get pushes down veritcally, and hit your knees, so the end up upside down, sort of curled up on your knee? There is a technical name, and the first gimmick names given to the moves. Now, there is VERY, VERY, VERY rarely you will think of a new move that just invloves two men.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 Now, there is VERY, VERY, VERY rarely you will think of a new move that just invloves two men. Yuppers. It's akin to the Bankroll, done slightly different, but more or less same effect. I know it's rare to get a new move. I'm just stating that I haven't heard the commonly known technical and gimmick name for the move I just stated, so I thought someone would call me out for it. And the move goes parallel to the mat with the person's side facing you as the opponent begins to fall. However, you drive their shoulder blade area downwards directly into the knee. Now, depending on how the person wishes to sell the move, they can fall away in normal backbreaker style (but clutching the shoulder blade/neck area), or rather sorta slide off the leg like they've been given reverse knee smash to the neck.
Guest Dace59 Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 It's a Suplex to Neckbreaker/Backbreaker (depending on the impact) It could end like a normal backbreaker, or an inverted shoulder breaker (papa shango style)
Guest Lightning Flik Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 It's a Suplex to Neckbreaker/Backbreaker (depending on the impact) It could end like a normal backbreaker, or an inverted shoulder breaker (papa shango style) Sounds about right.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 Just thought of a nice little spot...probably been done... Wrestler A gets the receiver into a Mexican Surfboard. While the opponent is up in the MexBoard, Wrestler B delivers a nice kick to the receiver's nuts.
Guest Zero_Cool Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 I was thinking about this during school the other day. How about a slow moving nothern lights suplex that is actually reversed into a ddt from the victim of the suplex.
