I'm glad some of you enjoyed my last review(I'm WF4E) Here is Day 2.......

 

XPW “My Bloody Valentine” Tour Day 2

X-Park located in North Hills, CA

 

 

Yes, you people were right, the second day is better then the first. This show was way, way, way better then yesterdays. Got to the arena at 8:15 and OH MY GOD!! THERE WASN’T A LONG LINE, why you ask, because they already let people in. I got into the arena at 8:25 and took my seat. If you didn’t know I was one of the winners for the XPWTV.com Contest (the one with all the questions, I know my XPW History) an was looking for OG(who seems like a nice guy) , I called Sean an asked him where he was, he was in the “box” section. He came down and I claimed my prize that was signed by Ian Rotten (they had Pain, Pogo, and J-Love). 8:30 and the show began!!!!!!!

 

Kloss comes out and does the usual, all of a sudden J-Loves music hits and you all know what is coming next. She talks about the incident yesterday, calls out her 3 “protectors”, Pogo comes out, yada yada Pog beats them up and gives J-Love the “Buried In The Basement”.

 

XPW Tag Team Titles

Youthnasia vs. Quance and Frantz

They gave Quance and Frantz some weird ass names and said they were from Japan. This match was very good, still I didn’t get to see M-Dogg hit his regular high flying moves (he only hit 3 I think). Finish saw M-Dogg hit the Shooting star on Frantz (I think).

 

Vic Grimes w/ Lucy vs. Salem w/ Luke

You might be thinking right now that these 2 can’t work well with each other, well your wrong. It was a back and forth match that was very good. Lucy didn’t interfere a lot but did a nice top rope Huricanrana on Salem, she got some big pops during this match. The ending was both Grimes and Lucy go to the top rope and hit a Nova/Chetti tag finisher(I forgot the name of it where Nova does a splash and Chetti does a leg drop). After the match Luke got in the ring and hit Lucy with some moves, Jonny Storm comes out which leads to:

 

Jonny Storm vs. Luke

Yes this was a awesome match., it was kind of short but still good. Both are high flyers and when I heard of this match taking place I knew it was gonna be good. Luke didn’t do all his high flying moves but did try to attempt his finisher, the Phoenix Splash. Storm did all of his good moves. Storm wins with the Rewind.

 

Scorpio Sky and Quicksilver vs. Angel and Shark Boy

Very entertaining match with some funny chants (get to those later).When Angel and Shark Boy came out Angel had a 6 foot blow up Shark with him that had XPWTV.com on it’s belly, the guy in the end of the row just directly behind me caught it. The chants, Usual Shark, Shark, Shark, whooooo Shark chants and Fag, fag, fag, whoooo fag chants at Angel. At one we were chanting shark, fag, shark, fag whooooooo shark fag when Shark was doing his 10 punch and Angel doing his “blow me” move. Angel and Shark Boy win the match.

 

Semi-finals to crown a European Champion:Winner goes to England

Jerry Lynn vs. Super Crazy

A real good match. Another back and forth one for you. I forgot most of this match but it was a good one. Winner was Lynn after he hit the Cradle Piledriver.

 

--------Intermission--------

 

Justice Pain vs. Chris Candido

Once again you are probably thinking “Candido vs. Pain? This match is gonna be boring as hell” well,NO your wrong, it was a very good match that I enjoyed. Before the match Pain got on the mic and said that someone told him that he reminded him (the guy) of Candido, Pain said that that person better have thought of Pain being Candido 6 years ago. Pain talked crap to him and said that he (Pain) was 24 years old an he had his whole career ahead of him and not washed up, Candido takes Pain down and we begin. At one point Candido had Pain up in a stalling Suplex for 30 seconds!(we counted). Tammy comes out towards the end and then gets in the ring with a chair, she looks at Pain like she is gonna hit him but then she hits Candido( a pretty fuckin’ weak hit too), Pain wins after the weak chairshot. Pain leaves an then Chris gets up and argues with Tammy, he leaves, Tammy picks up the chair (crowd chants “crackwhore”) and then leaves. The ending was the part that sucked. Other spots included Chris piledriving Chris(Pain) threw a table and Pain throwing Candido to the guardrail that gets unloosened causing it to fall on top of the fans (Holy Shits chants started).

 

 

 

2 out of 3 falls match

Southern Comfort vs. MMW

After SC was introduced a “fan” ( we know he works for XPW) talks shit to Hamrick which cause Hamrick to superkick the “fan” (this was some fuckin’ funny shit). This match was good. MMW won the first fall with a somewhat SAT(Spanish announce Team) submission. SC wins the second fall. SC picks up the duke with a roll up.

 

XPW TV Title

X-Pac vs. Juvi

A guy had a sign that read “Chyna’s a man” put it right in front of Pac when he came out, Pac got pissed and tried to rip it but failed. Juice did his Funny ass “Juice Bar” segment that was fuckin’ long. A very good match that was kind of short. Pac won with the X-Factor.

 

XPW World Heavyweight Title

Justin Credible vs. Shane Douglas

This was a lot better then yesterdays one. There were some good spots. At one point they took this match all the way to the concessional stand, we chanted “show your titties” to Lizzy to entertain us(we couldn’t see the fight because the booth is on the other side of the wall) but nothing happened. Towards the end Lizzy tried to distract the ref, Credible brought out some that sand (right now (I can’t remember what they call it) and threw it at Douglas. Douglas slowly bumped the ref(who he thought was Credible) an then Belly to Bellyed Hernandez. Credible hits “That’s Incredible and another ref (Mace, who wrestles in PCW over here) conuts the 3. NEW CHAMPION……OR so we think. Winner Justin Credible……by DQ L .

 

---- Intermission to set up the barbwire which took 30 or so minutes. To keep us entertained these guys in our section started to talk shit to the Ring bell guy( he fucked up earlier with the bell). They talked A LOT and I do mean A LOT of shit to him, it was so fuckin’ funny that I was hurting inside from all the laughter. They also bashed the ring bell guy during the main event. we also talked shit to the other section on the other side that was acting dumb by chanting “Your side sucks”.-------

 

XPW Deathmatch Title: Barbwire Rope match

Ian Rotten vs. Supreme

Now this was a good DM, A lot of light tubes were used in this match. Spots included Ian hitting Supreme over the head with a thumbtack plastic bat, Supreme smashing light tubes over Ian’s back and front an to top that there were light tubes between his stomach and attire, Backdrops onto lighttubes, and the finsh. Finish saw Ian attempting a powerbomb to Supreme but being Backdropped, wait a sec, Supreme is holding Ian’s legs before he hits the canvas, he then falls on his knees causing Ian’s head to hit the ground (check out the clip if you don’t know what I mean because I have no clue how to explain it good). Supreme wins. Ian gets up an hits Supreme with a chair to the head(3 times).

 

Very good show, I’ll give it a B grade( I didn’t give yesterdays show a grade but I’ll give it a D).

 

Notes

-I saw SCU Steve sitting in the crowd, he is a legend. I didn’t go up to met him because I saw him at the end an he was already leaving.

-I didn’t take my “I Won the XPWTV Contest….And you didn’t”or “Proctor=Ratings” sign because I was in a fuckin’ rush. I thought the XPWTV Contest sign would suck ass if I took it because it sounded to harsh to everyone who participated, but I wanted to take the Prctor sign. I did see Proctor in the crowd.

-To top it all off I didn’t know I would of got a good seat in the camera view section, I wish I had my signs. I was/am gonna be on TV.

-Also at he end of the Douglas/Credible match a beachball was brought out, sadly it lasted only 10 seconds in the crowd because some dude hit it over the guardrail

-Regular SoCal workers were there

- Attendance was said to be a 600 sellout and standing room only from about 5 different people on the XPWTV.com board. I'm not sure how reliable that is, but it was from about 5 or more different people, so take it for what it's worth.

- XPWrestling.com has a clip of Credible's title win fluke up.

- Rumors were sparked that Candido and Pain got into a legitimate fight backstage, but that's from XPWLive.com, which is known for their shady reporting and have been wrong in the past. Take it for what it's worth.

Oh Yeah, and the attendance was 550-600. I guess XPW can just run in Pittsburg and CA for now. In may they will be running in NYC, and possibly returing to Philly, I do not know if they are renting Viking Hall or if they are in another venue. and XPW will be on Pay Per View in May. There was something about them losing the liscense. I don't know if it is true or not. They said that more information would be available on Monday. If XPW loses their liscense they could still rent it for a show, or try renting another venue, because there is an XPW fan base in Philly, and some former anti-XPW people in Philly are saddened of the news.

Im glad the Juvi is back. I didnt really care for the Juice, but he had the match of the night at new frontiers, and ive started to become more of a fan of his. On the subject of Lizzie and EWR, I played the game for a little mess around. I whacked up the extreme level (or what ever its called - i forget) and I saw a few match types, one of which was buck naked. (It might have been bare naked - Im not 100% sure).

 

Anyway, does anyone in the game actually agree to work those matches. I didnt try, but it was hard enough to get some of them to job to others, let alone agree with stuff like that.
