Clerks: Animated Series Trouble

I just bought the Clerks: Animated Series DVD, and it's hilarious. My fav is episode 4 by far (Who is driving? Bear is driving! How can that be?!). However, I went to go watch it on my PS2 and it didn't work. I thought maybe the disk was screwed up, but it works on my main DVD player. So does this thing just not work on PS2 or what?

that's weird. I have the set (I love it) and I have watched it on both my main DVD player and my PS2... the PS2 worked fine the few times I used it... I don't know. Of course, my PS2 is still pretty new (X-mas present) so maybe that's why I haven't really had any messups yet.

Episode 4 is also my favorite, I love it. I show that to anyone I tell the show about. I also love Episode 2, the clip show, it's great, but to make it even funnier, you have to see Episode 1 first... that's a little more involved.

Hope you figure out your problem. My set has worked, I dunno.

I have the first driver, so I'm screwed according to IGN's list. Ah well. Time to get a new DVD player for my room.......

I was always kind of partial to Jay and Silent Bob kicking Charles Barkley's ass for being in their segments.

yea. Now, every time I see that scene in Godfather I say "We do the Science Sez segments around here, got it?!"

Plays fine on my PS2...I love the movie and all, but I think the Animated Series is very overrated. I still like it though. I like all the episodes pretty well except the sick monkey one and the last one...both have moments, but they're the weakest of the batch.

Weren't there rumors recently that the cartoon was going to get picked up by MTv? I thought I recall reading that over at the View Askew website, but I might have been mistaken.

"You mean like a kissing booth for charity?"

Except there's no booth

and it's not for charity

and there's more than just kissing

I don't see the appeal to this animated series. Its as if Kevin Smith was writing this show while smoking out with Jason Mewes during a writers block period then all of a sudden he had an attack of ADD.

The 2nd episode was harsh on the eyes.

Comedy Central has this latenight animation thing, I don't know if it's weeknights or weekends though.

I'm talking in the 2 and 3 AMs...they show Clerks, Gary and MIke (which sucked) and Undergrads.

Different strokes, I suppose. I thought some of the episodes were better written than his movies.

It's Dilbert, Clerks, Critic, Gary and Mike, Undergrads, and Duckman.

I have the DVDs. I like the movie more, but the cartoon is fine.

The Japanese Animation at the end of the courtroom episode is hilarious.
