Guest The Tino Standard Report post Posted March 4, 2003 Normally, I get annoyed with WWE.com and their rigged polls, but every once in awhile, they put up a funny one, such as this... What superstar's hometown is your favorite? - Parts Unknown - Deepest Darkest Africa - Bad Street - Dudleyville - Death Valley - Truth or Consequences Parts Unknown easily gets my vote. What are some other ones that might have been left off?

Guest notJames Report post Posted March 4, 2003 My favourite is Toronto, Canada, since Lillian Garcia has somehow obliterated the rest of Ontario. And it's not like she does that with any other province. She says Winnipeg, Manitoba and Calgary, Alberta just fine. Whassupwidat? And just for your edification, I'm originally from Kingston, Cana… I mean, Ontario, which is just north of The Dark Side but two towns over from Parts Unknown. Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted March 4, 2003 D-von Dudley being from the "southside" of Dudleyville is hilarious, but they don't have Joel Gertner to do each intro for each Dudley so the affect aint there. Raven from the Bowery(sp?) Parts Unknown has always been a favorite.

Yeah, without Joel the name just doesn't mean the same thing. "He weighs in at a slim, trim, buff, cut, ripped, chissled, and JAAAAAAACKED! 247 lbs...from Southside Dudleyville, D-von Dudley!" Buh Buh was the "Dudleyville sports legend" from Metropolitan, Dudleyville And Big Dick was from the "Twisted Steel City section of Dudleyville" They should bring back Joel just do do this kind of thing...although the Dudleys would have to be heels. Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted March 5, 2003 Also, they used to bill Sid Vicious as being from "Wherever the hell he wants to be". I always thought taht was cool. Ted DiBiase, when he had the Million Dollar Man gimmick, would always have things like "Currently at his summer residence in Jacksonville, FL" and things like that. A nice little touch to show he has enough money for multiple homes.
that1870sguy 0 Report post Posted March 5, 2003 Some of my favorite hometowns were "The Isle of Samoa," "110th Street in Harlem, New York," and Philadelphia, PA, for midcarders in other promotions who spent time in ECW. While that's a fun little poll, my favorite poll off of WWE or F.com was after Angle drove in on the milk truck after Summerslam 2001. The poll asked who should drive in on what kind of truck. Some choices were: Regal in a tea truck Tajiri in a green mist truck Kane in a fire truck Gangrel in mysterious red liquid truck which prompted me to ask "Gangrel still works here?!"
