Yes, that's the first thing that came to my mind when i heard one of the top workers in the company was in incredible pain and would be out for a year and Smackdown looks like shit now. When that happened I was freaking out bad since he used to be my favourite wrestler at the time. Hopefully Angle can come back without the problems HHH has now. However, I think we all know that he is going to come back and be just as good as he was before...he's an Olympic freaking Gold Medalist! With the injuries piling up everywhere right now, the only man on Smackdown that can look good next to Brock IS Benoit. It'll be great to see Chris this high on the card at Wrestlemania, even it is by default..which brings me to a rambling. There are no two words greater in the English langauge than "de" and "fault". If it weren't for Edge getting injured, and if it weren't for Rhyno debuting, this could've went down a lot more differently had Angle been injured, and I think we should remember that. Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted March 5, 2003 Bah, this gives Angle a lot of promo time and what have you. Remember the last time he got injured, along with Austin? We got the Austin/Angle/McMahon skits with the cowboy hats and guitars. That was some of the funniest stuff that year. I really doubt they'll keep a main eventer off TV for an entire year. Besides, Team Angle needs him to get over, so he'll be out to talk and whatnot once the majority of the work is done, even if he has to wear a neckbrace while he's doing it. Guest Choken One Report post Posted March 5, 2003 I am Certain that they are going with with Brock/Benoit now...Luckily they didn't have this happen a week or two before Mania and still have an Whole month to sell this angle... I guess it will HAVE to be Face Vs. Face in the sell...As much as We like these two guys...Booker/HHH, HBK/Jericho and even McMahon/Hogan are more credible Main events.... With Benoit with Brock...That leaves Rhyno out...So either expect him to MAYBE get involved with Undertaker by turning on Benoit and hooking up with Heyman...
