Guest bravesfan Report post Posted March 5, 2003 MLB: Right....hmmm...tough one! NFL: 49ers - life-long fan, due to the West Coast bias. NBA: Bulls - I'll be a Jordan mark for the rest of my life. NHL: Kings - Another West-Coast thing. Coincidentally, my five favorite athletes have played in some fashion for the above teams... --Terrell Owens. --Steve Young. --Michael Jordan. --Greg Maddux. --Jerry Rice. Guest Lethargic Report post Posted March 5, 2003 The Predators have fans? Is that you guys or Greensboro that posted the rules to hockey above the urinals? For pretty much their entire history the Nashville Arena has been known as one of the loudest, if not the loudest, arena in the league, so yeah they have fans. The first game I went to was the last game of the first season. After the game, hardly anybody left, everybody stayed and chanted Lets Go Predators for about 30 minutes after the game which was a 5-1 loss to the Devils. That was the one of the coolest experiances of my life. Like I said, waiting forever to finally get a team and then having that as my first game was awesome. The way the town accepted a hockey team was great cause I expected it to fail immediately because of all these rednecks. Luckily there is a large portion of former Detriot people that live here due to the car factories. haha. A lot of fans went away for a while this season because all the morons got pissed that their favorites players (Fitzgerald, Ronning and Dunham) got traded away. Now that the team is proving those trades DID make the team better they're all coming back. Don't know anything about rules in the bathroom. It wouldn't shock me because the first couple of years they were very gung ho about teaching every single citizen the game of hockey since it was new to most people in this area. But I've never heard anything about that and never seen it.
Guest phoenixrising Report post Posted March 5, 2003 NFL - Jacksonville Jaguars are my number one team, they really got my attention with the playoff run in 1996. After Sanders retired I just lost all hope with Detroit and started following the Jaguars. I'm slowly drifting back into the Lions camp again now that Mariucci is there, but I'll still follow the Jaguars. I also like the Rams (my favorite team until they moved, still kind of like them) and the Broncos (mostly cause Elway used to play for them). MLB - Seattle Mariners. Will also root for the home teams (Anaheim and Los Angeles) depending on how they're doing (like all LA fans...haha). NBA - Sacramento Kings. NHL - Don't really watch, but if I had to choose probably between the Southland teams (L.A. Kings or Anaheim Mighty Ducks). NCAA football - UCLA Bruins, from the day I was born till the day I die. NCAA basketball - Again, UCLA Bruins

NCAACB: Dayton Flyers- First college basketball game I went to, rough teams in 90's but always great fans. NCAAH: North Dakota Fighting Sioux: Parents went there. Guest starvenger Report post Posted March 5, 2003 I more or less stick to the "Hometown Fan" theory, so there's a lot of Toronto-based franchises NHL: Toronto Mape Leafs. I wish Houston had an NHL team though. NBA: Toronto Raptors MLB: None, I've been pretty much ignoring it since 1994. NFL: San Francisco 49ers. The two US cities I've lived in have been Detroit (right after Sanders retired) and Houston (current), so I'm not about to switch my loyalties just yet. CFL: ARRRRRRRRRRGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS!
