Hello, This post is dedicated to all the morons who got caught up in the "this is going to be an April Fool gag" crap that went on yesterday. No it isn't an April Fool, it's the real deal. EWR 3.0 Feature List, Part 1 (already coded, definitely in the release version) 130+ wrestler gimmicks Selectable finishes for "1 vs 1 vs 1" matches Selectable finishes for "1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1" matches Belt names extended to 30 characters Event names extended to 30 characters Ability to rename belts during the game 9 new commentary "win by cheating" endings Stable interview Advanced search facility for Other Workers section EWR 2.0 to 3.0 data converter Improved Training Camp section Improved Feuds section Fixed all TV-related bugs Improved User screen (when you click on your name on the main screen) Additional "American" worker statistic - works in conjunction with gimmicks Additional "Menacing" worker statistic - works in conjunction with gimmicks Additional "Fonz Factor" (coolness) worker statistic - works in conjunction with gimmicks Moving wrestlers up and down the roster has been made more realistic Improved Database Maintenance to remove written contracts from unemployed workers "Ask Writers For Event Name Suggestions" feature "Ask Writers For Stable Name Suggestions" feature Changes to Sponsor screen to make it more useful, including search facility Minor aesthetic changes to most screens Several fixes to minor bugs EWR 3.0 Feature List, Part 2 (not programmed yet, but scheduled to be) 80+ new angles, contributed by The Scotsman There may be some other stuff added between now and the release date, it all depends on how much time I have to play the game. The release date is NOT confirmed as April, although that is what I am aiming for at the moment. If I decide to add any larger features, I may extend the date. The official release date will be announced on the front page of my site when I have it. At the moment, this is scheduled to be the last version of the game, although I am not making that official in case I do decide to continue at a later date. Regardless, I will continue to fix bugs that arise though. Three important notes - please do not send me your ideas by mail - use the Suggestion Forum; I am NOT looking for beta testers; I am not sending out advance copies to anyone, Scotsman is the only exception to that. You should be able to change if you want a person as manager, wrestler, non-wrestler or whatever else.

About the feud videos, just use hype video for tag team if you really wanna do one. I know, I know. Not the same thing, but really same diff.

I too want handicap matches!! Well, I usually just pit whatever single wrestler against certain stable, and just put him over each member. Cause usually, I build mind so that I got a main, upper, mid, and lower. That way everyone looks good.

Guest El Satanico Posted March 9, 2003 Report Posted March 9, 2003 Yeah I'll enjoy the "ask for name advice" feature as well. I usually use old WCW and ECW ppv names for all my events. Or do the time tested way of naming events by using words that rhyme or fit with the month...ex. November 2 Remember or Dismember.
