Of course, the whole concept seems stupid, since people could buy real porn instead. *shrug* That damn kettle drum music they use for the commercials (and also did on SD) must be part of the soundtrack to Hell. I agree 100% on all accounts. It seems as if they just want to push the law just for the hell of it, and regardless of what you believer personally, that is simply wrong. There are many different things they could do to make this legal. I could say also that I don't think GGW is right PERIOD, but that's a different discussion. I am all for saying that people should be responsible for what they do while under the influence, but still, I don't think some of this stuff should be put on video, and marketed, as many of them do not even know what they are doing. There have been many cases of these people not really realizing what they are doing, as they were drunk. The whole concept is on shakey grounds.

I assume that won't be in your traditional theater. Ew. I think WWE Films is dead. Or about to die. Whatever. Just another failure waiting to happen. I guess the whole draw to this thing is seeing topless/nude shots of Nidia/Torrie that either will be put up on the net within minutes of the PPV being on--or in Torrie's case, just being a preview of the Playboy shoot. Thankfully Molly's far, far away from this idiocy.

Eric Bischoff is the Executive Producer of GGW, and IIRC has a small role in ownership of the company. The WWE just needs the publicity, as this PPV will not hurt them or offend their audience beyond what they'll regularly see on WWE TV (Katie Vick and Tourette-Dust, anyone?), so it's a "win-win" situation.

Not sure why but that got me to thinking about that news item about Tammy Sytch doing a porno, this was at least 6 months ago though. I'm guessing that was all bullshit......I think it was something they were trying to get to happen to put or sell on the Wrestling Vixxen site. Anyone heard anymore about that? As much of a cow that she is these days, I'll be honest, I would be interested in seeing her getting boned on camera.

Panama City Beach officials had warned of arrests if producers of the "Girls Gone Wild" videos went on with plans to bring cameras to their community. The videos show women exposing themselves while partying. The producers said they were moving Thursday's show to South Padre Island, Texas, because of insufficient electrical hookups at the Panama City Beach nightclub where the show had been planned. "We are very pleased that South Padre has been graced with this," Panama City Beach police Maj. David Humphreys said. "It's a dandy place for it." Phone messages left after-hours Friday for the city manager of South Padre Island were not immediately returned. The producers said Friday that a crew would remain in Panama City Beach to take video footage for tapes the company sells by mail order. A lawyer told city officials in a letter Friday that he would seek court protection for the video crew. Humphreys said he had no plans to respond to the letter.

It also promotes the carny atmosphere that detracts from wrestlings legitimacy as an entertainment form. Not only is WWE an "Action Adventure show", but it's now a porno. Can't wait until it's a horror sitcom too.

That would be good ol' WWE reasoning for you, because we all know how wrestling audiences love to be promised one thing and given the opposite.
