Orton injured for rest of his life

- Randy Orton has been told that he will have pain in his foot for the rest of his life, due to the severity of his current foot injury. Orton will now have to work through pain even after he returns.

- It now appears that Batista will be able to return in 3 months, not the original 6 months expected from his torn triceps muscle injury. WWE is hoping he will be ready in June for the company's first RAW-only PPV.

God, that's horrible for such a young guy to have to deal with this right now at this point in his life. My sympathy goes out to him, and I wish him a larger recovery than what I hear by this.

Now we know why his dad wore a cast for 14 years. It must run in the family. Best wishes to Orton.

This sucks. Guys like Orton are the future of WWE. Hopefully, he WON'T feel pain in his foot for the rest of his life. This could also lead to an addiction to painkillers. Stronger men have gotten hooked on them.

You are 100% exactly right on that one. The thing right now to worry about is his getting addicted to pain killers. I really hope that isn't the case, because that is NO WAY to start a budding career in Pro. Wrestling.

So he'll never reach 100%?

Seriously though, I got hooked on the guy during his heel stint, and I wish him the best. Get well Randy.

Don't forget. When they say "pain for the rest of his life," it could be as simple as Arthritis. I get that in my right wrist when it's really cold from when I broke it in 3 places.

This is true, but for a Pro. Wrestler who goes out there night after night putting his body on the line, it would/could truly be a pain in the ass for him.

He should have a gimmcik where he says he's going to have a hell of a career, NEVER reaching 100%. Then when he beats someone for a belt or something, he can rub it in their face, heh.

Yeah, I've had back problems going on 10 years now but it doesn't affect my typing. Going out there night after night performing incredible athletic feats with pain in your foot takes a hell of a lot of dedication.

Translation: If he doesn't come back soon, he'll lose whatever spot he has now.

I don't think any guy in the business is completely 100%.

Randy should of stayed in OVW for his whole career, he was in no way to be ready for WWE skills wise, yeah he had some mic skills but that was it.

Lets hope that the Tough Enough "winners" don't get pushed too fast just because a new season on MTV is starting.

Wow. Not to be a dick or anthing, but isn't it ironic that his dad's gimmick was a perpetual broken arm, and now he'll have pain in his foot for the rest of his career? Freaky...

Was Bob Orton ever ACTUALLY injured? Or was this some ingenious idea that ran for years?

Didn't Owen recreate this Gimmick for a good deal of 1996? I remember him doing Color for KOTR 1996 and he had the broken Arm and it ran for a while... ending just before The Hart Foundation reunion...

D'Lo also used the same template for his chest protector.

I think Bob was really injured, but when he came back they decided to use the cast that way.

While I like the idea of endless RNN segments, this will definitely slow down his in-ring skills.

Orton should just wait a couple years...and be an Old School Heel Manager...

Fuck.

I thought he looked pretty good in his match on Raw a couple of weeks ago.

And I enjoyed him as a Heel.

Get Well Randy.

As for Deacon Dave Batista, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

They should bring in Tenacious Z to feud with him.

Just because you're not entertained by him doesn't mean you should laugh at his serious injury.

I don't want him to be in pain for the rest of his life. I just don't want him to be on my TV for the rest of mine.

Yes you can. The line is drawn at career threatning/life threatening.

I think he was more laughing at how the WWE was basically telling him "heal up, or you lose your spot."

But seriously, coming from experience of similar nature, I wish Orton the best in his road to recovery. And hopefully, the pain won't stop him from getting even better.

And yes, I wish Batista the best as well.

You have issues.

Angle's is more serious because it's a neck injury and because he was (Along with was select few) the only reason to watch Smackdown.

Batista got the Hoss Special and Orton broke his foot. And their less than mediocre ring skills were a good reason NOT to watch Raw. Apples and Oranges.

In a Confidential interview, Orton said that his arm didn't heal right for years because it wasn't healed fully when he came back to the ring, and then kept bashing people in the head with the cast.

They should bring in Tenacious Z to feud with him.

Well, he does have a foot...he just doesn't have feet ;)

When you're told something will effect you the rest of your life, it's above petty jabs at his workrate.

Oh and I thought Angle only hurt his neck, not broke it.
