Rangers acquire two more players.

With the trade deadline past, the New York Rangers acquired Forward Rem Murray and Up and Coming Defenceman Tom Poti, from the Edmenton Oilers. In exchange, the New York Rangers have to give away one of there top scorers in Mike York.

Rangers trying to get the last playoff spot in the east, bulking up strongly, while hopefully, Mike York can get a spark going for the low scoring Oilers, for there drive of a playoff spot.

Still, it's obvious to me that Toronto made the best trade this year, getting Barrasso to back up Corey Schwab. (rolls eyes).

Seriously, though, the Rangers may not make the playoffs this year, but they're gonna be dangerous next year.  Sather made some pretty good moves, and he probably has some incriminating photos of the Florida GM to pull off that Bure trade...

The Rangers have been building there team for the last four years, and yet have made the playoffs.

I'm glad that they don't get into the playoffs

Rem Murray is a pretty good player for the Rangers to pickup but York is a pretty #### good young player to be giving away.  Hopefully both of these teams will profit from their deals
