Guest redbaron51 Report post Posted March 19, 2002 With the trade deadline past, the New York Rangers acquired Forward Rem Murray and Up and Coming Defenceman Tom Poti, from the Edmenton Oilers. In exchange, the New York Rangers have to give away one of there top scorers in Mike York. Rangers trying to get the last playoff spot in the east, bulking up strongly, while hopefully, Mike York can get a spark going for the low scoring Oilers, for there drive of a playoff spot. Seriously, though, the Rangers may not make the playoffs this year, but they're gonna be dangerous next year.
