Guest ShooterJay Report post Posted March 9, 2003 Justice over Clark and Madison - Trifecta Semi . Clark did hit the 630. Justice put it away with a 450 splash. Solid opener. Madison was said to be the most impressive of the three. -Kastle/Dahmer over Jude/Young -Said to be 100x better than it had any right to be. Dahmer's DEADLY "Move of 1000 Maniacs" finishes. GQ, who was "managing" Jude and Young, hit his "Single Figures" apron dropkick/Van Terminator sequence after the match. -Menace over Loco, Dunn & Marcos (ROH's Ring Crew Express - supposedly got a huge pop.)- Trifecta Semi. Somehow this got turned into a fourway. reason unknown. -ZBarr, Greg Matthews, and Rockin Rebel over Derick Frazier, Hurricane Kid, and Maxx, Tank Tolliman, Iceberg and Dead End. (NWA Wildside wrestlers). Rebel gets the win with a DDT onto thumbtacks on Iceberg. Postmatch, Zandig challenged Rebel to a strap match w/thumbtacks for BOTB3, and said there would be no huge announcement- it was a reporting fuckup by the PWBTS.com staff. -Jimmy Rave over El Diabolico and Mayhem - Trifecta Semi - Rave wins with a Crippler Crossface. -Mamaluke over Berk - Spot in BOTB3 Mamaluke hit a SICK top-rope DDT that busted Berk open and may have given him a concussion. Mamaluke quickly locks on a camel clutch to finish. -Knoxx over Stylez. Nothing special. Knoxx hit Stylez with a keg to the face to finish. Only appearance of Adam Flash here, as he celebrates with Knoxx postmach. -Blade over Kashmere - Bat Match, Spot in BOTB3 Pre-match, crowd threw pennies at Kashmere, which almost got ugly. Kashmere cut a racially-tinged promo before the match, saying he was Italian, not Jewish and wouldn't be scraping up the money. Also said he put his BOTB slot on the line in this match. A lot of really good, stiff, and creative bat spots in the match. In the end, Blade overcomes copius Acid interference and hits a pumphandle into a Michinoku Driver for the win. -Rave over Menace & Justice - Trifecta Final. Menace hit an across the ring Van Terminator on Justice, but Rave pulled Menace's mask off and Menace ran to the back. Rave quickly locked on the Crippler Crossface on Justice for the submission victory, winning the Trifecta and the BOTB slot. -Cash/Ruckus Double DQ. Yes, you read that right- there was a DQ in CZW. Special ref Sonjay Dutt threw the match out, and layed out both men with DDTs afterwards. Zanding announced a first- round bracket for BOTB will consist of Sonjay vs. Cash vs. Ruckus. -Mondo over Acid - CZW Ironman Title. Sick finish- Top-rope Assault Driver onto a row of chairs covered with BROKEN GLASS! Interference by all of Hi-V, as well as Ric Blade. -H8 Club over B-Boy/Messiah. Gage pinned Messiah following a Michinoku Driver variation and a rollup. Backseats arrive for a beatdown postmatch, but Blade and Mondo save, culminating with an Assault Driver on Kashmere. Solid ECW-esque main event. So half the slots in Best of the Best 3 have been filled: Ric Blade, Tony Mamaluke, Jimmy Rave, Chris Cash, Sonjay Dutt, and Ruckus. Also, we have Zandig/Rockin' Rebel in the token throwaway garbage match on the show, and the finish of the main implies a Messiah/Nick Gage title match. MOTN: either Blade/Kashmere or Mamaluke/Berk, but pretty much everything was above average/good/very good, and nothing was bad. Well-booked, and by far the strongest show CZW has put on in 2003, although BOTB will likely top it. Cribbed and interpreted from the CZWFans board. http://www.czwfans.com/board/viewtopic.php...er=asc&start=

Guest EMAXSAUN Report post Posted March 9, 2003 Yes, it was a wonderful show. It was better than the XPW shows I went to in Viking, and this is coming from an XPW mark.
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted March 9, 2003 Don't get me wrong, I'm a CZW fan and everything. But after Cage of Death none of the shows seem to look that good. Actually it seems like they fell apart after the October shows.
Guest Phoenix Fury Legdrop Report post Posted March 9, 2003 I'm extremely happy for Jimmy, Iceberg, and Tank getting over at CZW (Tank & Iceberg in just their first show there), but why in the hell did Iceberg, who, in another promotion that airs in Philly is an indestructable monster, job to the freaking Rockin' Rebel??? Guest ShooterJay Report post Posted March 9, 2003 I'm extremely happy for Jimmy, Iceberg, and Tank getting over at CZW (Tank & Iceberg in just their first show there), but why in the hell did Iceberg, who, in another promotion that airs in Philly is an indestructable monster, job to the freaking Rockin' Rebel??? That WAS the one part of the show that I didn't really get- I'm assuming because Zandig wanted to be a part of some deathmatch in BOTB3, and none of those guys could make it in- so he put over Rebel, who he knew could be at every show (even though that match will suck really hard.) In other news, CZW has confirmed that Justice, Dunn and Marcos will be returning to CZW. ROH gets the Backseat Boyz, CZW gets...Dunn and Marcos. Way to get the better end of the talent exchange there, Zandig. All aside, I mark for the Ring Crew Express, and I'm glad that they'll have steady work in both major Philly feds. Guest EMAXSAUN Report post Posted March 9, 2003 No the show was awesome. About 700-800 ppl there. -Justice over Clark and Madison Good match, nice opener. -Kastle/Dahmer over Jude/Young This was kind of a clusterfuck but was still decent. GQ 's moves after the match were nice. -Menace over Loco, Dunn & Marcos This match was decent. -ZBarr, Greg Matthews, and Rockin Rebel over Derick Frazier, Hurricane Kid, and Maxx, Tank Tolliman, Iceberg and Dead End. Match was ok, but I wasn't feeling this one. -Jimmy Rave over El Diabolico and Mayhem Fucking great contest. -Mamaluke over Berk Awesome submission match with great mat wrestling an actual build ups to the big spots. -Knoxx over Stylez. Nothing special -Blade over Kashmere - Bat Match Great match all the way here with Blade hitting everything. -Rave over Menace & Justice - Trifecta Final AWESOME MATCH -Cash/Ruckus Double DQ I was pissed off about the Double DQ, but that just sets up next month. Good match aside from the DQ ending. -Mondo over Acid - CZW Ironman Title Sick, match, sick finish. -H8 Club over B-Boy/Messiah. Decent main event. This show was awesome, and has converted me!!! XPW is good, but NOW I LIKE CZW TOO!!

Chunk 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2003 I was thinking of picking up some XPW DVDs when I come over to Texas on Holiday. Ive never seen anything by them before, but the deal with FWA has got me interested. EMAX, do you have any suggestions for shows to get. DO you know where I can get them cheaply in Texas? ChUnK! Guest EMAXSAUN Report post Posted March 10, 2003 hmm, any entertainment store like best buy, fye, sam goody, etc should have them hostile takeover and fallout are good
Guest ConspiracyVictim Report post Posted March 10, 2003 Its gonna be pretty hard to find them cheap anywhere here in Texas but check at any FYE Stores. It really depends on where you are going...I know Houston has like 4 FYEs. Also this CZW show looks great. I will have to pick it up from SMV along with the Simply the Best IV and the LWF show. How long does it take for the shows to actually arrive if you order them the day after the show. Thanks for the info Emax, ill definetly try and get some stuff when im over there. $15 would be about £10 right? Thats not a bad price for a master DVD. ChUnK! Guest j.o.b. squad Report post Posted March 10, 2003 from what i hear from people who order from them thru the mail it is usualy around 3 days to a week. I personally just buy tapes when i go to the shows.
Chunk 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2003 Really? How do they make the tapes so quickly? Surely they need to edit them and add commentary etc. ChUnK!
PsychoDriver 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2003 -Knoxx over Stylez. Nothing special. Knoxx hit Stylez with a keg to the face to finish. Only appearance of Adam Flash here, as he celebrates with Knoxx postmach. Can't they find anything to do with Adam Flash? He deserves more than that. Where's Danny Rose been anyway?
Guest j.o.b. squad Report post Posted March 10, 2003 from what i here danny rose recently started a new job so he had to take off time so he could setle in. yeah i agree they schould find something more for him to do but he was slated to have a feud with rose but that fell thru so they are just trying to find something for him right now. i woude have him feud with mondo over the ironman title. chunk the comentary is done live at the shows and smv has always took a minamalist aproach to editing. ie you paid for the event tape so you are geting the whole event
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted March 10, 2003 Really? How do they make the tapes so quickly? Surely they need to edit them and add commentary etc. ChUnK! Yeah, if they put it up the day after the show, they still have a few days before the fist checks and money orders even come in. That's plenty of time to do what they need to do. Smart Mark is the absolute best to deal with.

Madison was said to be the most impressive of the three. Who are Justice and Madison? I know Clark is Jarrelle Clark ... where does he usually wrestle? Florida, right? And what's the Trifecta? I haven't been to Philly in months. MOTN: either Blade/Kashmere or Mamaluke/Berk A Berk match? Really? How far did Mamaluke have to carry him? HAHAHAHA ... I am so "smart."
Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted March 12, 2003 Justice, Steve Madison, and Jerelle clark are all out of Florida, either NWA Florida or IWS or something like that, I can't remember. I've heard something about Justice doing CZW full time, but that was a while ago and I'm not sure if that's still on. The Trifecta was a change for 9 relative CZW outsiders (Rave, Mike Mayhem, and Menace have worked CZW before) to earn an automatic entry into Best of the Best 3. Get some new talent in there, see how the crowd reacts, keep whom they like, dump whom they don't care for. (Like Menace.)

That's plenty of time to do what they need to do. Smart Mark is the absolute best to deal with. Wow, that is good service. As a contrast, I have just recieved FWA: British Uprising Part 2. The show took place in October, and I paid for it about 3 weeks ago. Im not complaining, because the quality of the FWA tape is second to none, and cold be released commerically. Also, they guy releasing the tapes is new to it, and works hard to get them done. I just though I would say, as it shows just how quick that SMV service really is. ChUnK!
