Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted March 10, 2003 Dave Meltzer just said he was close to signing and should show up within a couple of months.
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted March 10, 2003 Wow...I thought he retired cause of his elbow. Is it as a wrestler or something else?
Guest Mole Report post Posted March 10, 2003 Knowing Vince, he will mis-use him and he will be just a waste of space.
Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted March 10, 2003 He started wrestling again last year.
Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted March 10, 2003 Dave just said the plan is for a feud with Tajiri, with Ultimo as the face.
Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Report post Posted March 10, 2003 Wait... Â Â WWE fired B2 but hired Ultimo Dragon? Â Â Â Â Â God Bless the WWE and it's money.
Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted March 10, 2003 I hope he does feud with Tajiri. I would love to see a return of evil Tajiri. Plus, I can never complain about a Tajiri push.
Guest Steviekick Report post Posted March 10, 2003 It wouldn't matter if they misused him. He'd be able to pull off a swank match with almost anyone.
Ultimo Dugas 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2003 If its true then I am very happy.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted March 10, 2003 Yeah what's your point. Ultimo Dragon at 25% could wrestle circles around B2. I bet he turns into Rey Mysterio. Plucky Cruiserweight that attempts to hang with the heavies.
Guest RedJed Report post Posted March 10, 2003 Wonder if this means the possibility of any other guys from Toryrumon coming in with Dragon? Â This could be huge news, but I don't think it will be given how WWE handles foreigners
Guest eiker_ir Report post Posted March 10, 2003 i'm happy, but i'm worried that they turn him in just one more cruiser jobbing to big guys after one month... Â if they keep him like Mystero, you know a cruiser but has some credibility then i'll be happier...
Guest j.o.b. squad Report post Posted March 10, 2003 Yeah what's your point. Ultimo Dragon at 25% could wrestle circles around B2. I bet he turns into Rey Mysterio. Plucky Cruiserweight that attempts to hang with the heavies. I hope he stays away from the heavies. I do not want to see him jobing to albert and show. Â Also I hope ultimo has good people in place to run toryumon and toryumon X.
Guest tpww7 Report post Posted March 10, 2003 Meltzer said that he was at 90 %.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted March 10, 2003 I'll believe it when I see it, I remember hearing rumors about his arrival last year but nothing happened.
Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted March 10, 2003 Jim Ross said last year that Ultimo Dragon would most likely come in in 2003. There was never anything that said he would come in last year.
Guest Human Fly Report post Posted March 10, 2003 Maybe, finally, they are getting serious about the CW division. Rey Jr., Ultimo Dragon, Spanky, Tajiri, Noble, Moore, Kidman, Guido, and hopefully Dragon will bring in some guys too. That could tear it up nightly.
Guest snuffbox Report post Posted March 10, 2003 Wow. I wouldnt mind seeing Tajiri v Ultimo. Hopefully that match doesnt end up getting 5 minutes before Vince & Asspuppets drop the ball and Ultimo is jobbing to Undertaker over sleeperhold rights.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted March 10, 2003 Maybe WWe will get to thinking that "they're cheaper, will perform well everynight, are comfortable with the high paced style that fans desire and aren't as injury prone". Then they will start using smaller quicker guys and less injury prone slugs. Â And maybe Vince will retire/die soon so that can happen. But still It'd be nice to have more good cruisers no matter their card position. Â But honestly WWe could actually be trying to push the divison now that Rey is threatening to win the title. Guest Showstoppa Icon Report post Posted March 10, 2003 great now we can have the Ultimo Dragon vs Bill Demott dreamatch weve always wanted
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted March 10, 2003 DeMott's monster "bully" push is done and he hasn't even been on tv since the O'haire, Kendrick segment so it's needless to worry about.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted March 10, 2003 Maybe Ultimo Dragon can teach Chuck Palumbo and Nathan Jones how to do a proper kick.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted March 10, 2003 Yeah it's kinda obvious now that Demott got the "You were on Tough Enough so we have to push you to save face" push.
Ultimo Dugas 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2003 I'm glad Chavo has Eddie otherwise he would have never been over again.
Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted March 10, 2003 DeMott's monster "bully" push is done and he hasn't even been on tv since the O'haire, Kendrick segment so it's needless to worry about. Â It has just continued on Velocity as he squashes cruiserweights and stares at Josh Matthews in menacingly while being called a bully.
HurriShane 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2003 I'm looking forward to seeing Ultimo in the WWE, and seeing him in the ring with guys like Eddie,Rey,Tajiri and the like. Hopefully he can be a serious threat to the CW Title and put on awesome matches night in and night out like he did in WCW, I haven't seen any of his Japanese matches other than the J-Cup. LivingLegendGaryColeman 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2003 I'm glad Chavo has Eddie otherwise he would have never been over again. I just get this bad feeling he might be gone again once they split up though....
Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted March 10, 2003 If I was Ultimo, I would get some sort of decent guaranteed base salary for the first year, fulfill it, and then take the money & run. He really has no place in the WWE, besides along side of Tajiri which means NOTHING, unfortunately.
Guest Vyce Report post Posted March 10, 2003 I give him 3 months, tops, before he's jobbing to A-Train on Velocity.
Guest geniusMoment Report post Posted March 10, 2003 I would mark out for the handstand on the turnbuckle again. Can he do it on a WWE style corner?
