So many pointless matches (HHH/Maven), boring overall show, and Rock vs. Hurricane as main event! Yes, I think they are entertaining, but they did that instead of Rock and Booker T?
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 They really need to find someone controversial in the athletic industry to sponsor for a few shows and bring in some draw, ala Tyson. Part of the problem is that a lot of sports' "bad boys" are also heavily addicted on substances. And the only real celebrities of note right now are B-List shit like that really tall Chineese fellow. He'll never be on the same league as Michael Jordan or what have you when it comes to merchandising him.

Actually, how often do you watch TNN when it's not RAW? They can't just expect people to tune in because The Rock is back when they don't tell anyone that The Rock is back. Wrestling is like auto racing, in that they have their own little loyal audience. They don't work hard enough to attract outside of that.
