Guest swan Report post Posted March 13, 2003 "Creed" Worst BTM made IMO.
Guest nl5xsk1 Report post Posted March 13, 2003 Black Flag Dead Kennedys Misfits Fugazi (I'd love to see one covering Ian's time all the way from the Teen Idles through Minor Threat and Embrace and then finally to Fugazi) Stereolab Phish (although there's not enough scandal to make it really interesting) And after hearing about that sheep's head debacle: Mayhem

Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted March 13, 2003 "Creed" Worst BTM made IMO. Yeah, that was stupid. Creed only broke big like a year or two before that and since them Scott Stapp's wife left him and be became a chubby face drunk/drug addict. Goo Goo Dolls BTM was kind of lame too. JasonX 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2003 I really want a GNR one...but it won't happen. At least not the way it should. I could see them having Slash, Duff and everyone not named Axl do the interviews and then just tell the story without him. The ideal way to do a GnR BTM would be to copy what they did for the Judas Priest BTM.
JasonX 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2003 I would like to see one on U2. U2 has a VH1 Legends episode, though VH1 cruely gutted it of about 1/3rd of it's content with it's recent update of the Legends special by way of removing nearly all of the info about the Achtung Baby/Zooropa/Pop era in order to cover their last album and to suck Bono off over his social activist work..... Guest LooseCannon Report post Posted March 13, 2003 Black Flag Dead Kennedys Misfits Fugazi (I'd love to see one covering Ian's time all the way from the Teen Idles through Minor Threat and Embrace and then finally to Fugazi) Stereolab Phish (although there's not enough scandal to make it really interesting) And after hearing about that sheep's head debacle: Mayhem It's not exactly the same as watching on VH1, but a book titled "Our band could be your life" by Michael Azzerad covers Black Flag, Minor Threat, and Fugazi and about a dozen other similiar 80's bands in a sort of Behind-the-Music style. In case you're interested. It's a good read, and informative. I'd recommend it.

I read most of the good punk/hardcore books that I can find (Dance of Days/Banned in DC/American Hardcore) so will see if I can find a copy of "Our Band ..." Most of the hardcore bands that I said that I'd want to see on BTM are bands I know the story of. It would just be really cool to see an hour long show talking about the bands I grew up loving. Plus, they'd probably have some crazy old-school footage that would be cool to check out.
Guest kingkamala Report post Posted March 13, 2003 Don't watch the show so correct me if i'm wrong: Ozzy Alice Cooper Jimi Hendrix The Who Rush Megadeth Ozzy: Yep, pretty good but way overplayed. They play it the most behind Shania Twain's Alice Cooper: Yes Jimi Hendrix: No, but they have a good episode of Legends on him The Who: No, but I think they have an episode of Legends on them Rush: Nope Megadeth: Yep, damn good episode too. Guest saturnmark4life Report post Posted March 14, 2003 I should probably get into some other bands, however the butthole surfers are about 20 or so years overdue for one.
Guest Dmann2000 Report post Posted March 14, 2003 Megadeth: Yep, damn good episode too. Yeah the Megadeth one was cool. Who'd ever think they'd see a career retrospective of Megadeth on VH1?
