The strangest thing about how this story played out is the fact that the mother actually hired this guy to do some work at their house as a handyman, which then led to the kidnapping, which in retrospect, wasn't all that "smart".

It's great they found the girl and she's okay physically, but talk about a lapse in judgement. I woudln't use the same public restroom as that guy, much let him anywhere near my home and especially not my kids, y'know?

I of course don't mean to be a stick in the mud, but I live here in SLC, Utah...and the goddamn coverage is just too horrendus(sp?). I mean the Avril song I'm With You was remixed here in Utah....its now the "Im With You - Elizabeth Smart Remix" of all the news coverage. Anyways the reason I came here is to let you guys in on some more info.....ya know..... they give us more info than they give the nation. Anyways, LIZZIE, said that they "brainwashed" her into hating her parents and NEVER wanting to go back, and that the guy she was with was a drifter.... that is the reason that they we're floating about the country. It wasn't to run from the law.... in fact it was reported that she was allowed to go outside whenever....sometimes alone... but still wasn't identified. (Does this kinda give you the distinct mentality of Utahn's....lol.) Well I thought I'd share that with ya'll.

The sad thing is that this guy will probably get sent to some looney bin. If there is any God he'll get sent to a real prison where the "decent" (haha..you know what I mean) murderers and criminals will rape and beat him for the rest of his life.

They were showing more of those pictures on the local news last night... So many of the kids in them (at least seven) went to/still attend my high school.
