As mentioned before, I was there for the taping, sooo--I'll do the honors:

 

WrestleMania comes early this Thursday night at 8/7 CT on UPN when Brock Lesnar faces Kurt Angle with the WWE Championship on the line!

It became clear in recent weeks that these two simply couldn't wait until March 30 to face off in the ring. Kurt Angle has done everything in his power to avoid this match, but he can't hid any longer. Brock won the rights to a shot at a title last week by fending off a full-fledged assault from Team Angle and pinning Paul Heyman in a steel cage. Will Angle's shoulders hit the mat for a three-count this week? Tune in Thursday night for this spectacular match!

 

WrestleMania will continue to take shape over the next few weeks. As of right now, there are still plenty of Superstars who hope to be on the card come March 30. Will we see more matches announced for this sports-entertainment spectacular this week? Tune in to UPN on Thursday at 8/7 CT to find out!

I know WWE is counting on Brock-Angle to draw the ratings, but couldn't most of those matches have been "announced"? Or is every match "made" during the show?

The thing is, they don't think anything in the undercard sells the show.

 

They figure people turn in for only the main event and the crap like the Torrie Playboy cover. *groan*

See, tuning in for the main event is fine if they deliver. I haven't seen tonight's spoilers, but I know people who did tune into Raw for just the main event, and they didn't deliver on that.

 

Besides, what about the people who don't want to see Brock vs. Angle? There has to be some moron out there who won't watch now.

JHawk: Yeah...I marked out for the ending of SD live, but it's going to come off as a huge cop-out for the home audience. They really need to come up with a plan and stick to it unless they can't avoid it.

 

I guess with info on Angle's neck changing left and right it's hard to make a plan and stick to it.

Dammit! He's stinking up Velocity again. At least he's squashing indy guys now. I was sick of him beating up Funaki. Ah well. I am awaiting Velocity. It has a super rare occurence on it, along with Tajiri, and it also has Matt Stryker who I love using in EWR, so I am awaiting seeing him in action. I cannot wait for Saturday.

A couple of those matches on Smackdown look to be really bad. I just hope the rest of them could save the show and that the Angle/Brock thing isn't done too bad.

 

Whatever happen to that great week when Rikishi was stuck on Velocity. I'd rather watch DeMott.
