Guest TheHulkster Report post Posted March 17, 2003 The Scene: Late at night in an empty Norfolk bus station on the wrong side of the tracks. The only inhabitants are the hookers, the pushers, gang members, and the homeless strolling by. Terry wakes up in the corner of the bus station wearing a hooded black coat, filthy jeans, and a really old pair of shoes. He begins to light up a cigarette. SJL's resident camera man Gus visits the area to get a word with one of SJL's most morbid newcomers. "Gold is an appealing thing ain't it" Terry says after taking a puff of his smoke. "It can make men sail thousands of miles across the ocean. It can make wives leave their husbands. It can make a man kill his own brother. It's a weakness. Everyone is looking so hard for wealth that they become blinded to the effects that their actions have on others. Look at this man right here..." Terry points out an older man making a crack deal with a young teen. "He will take advantage of a child and ruin their life for a few pieces of paper! He's a piece of $#!+ and you know what Duran? You're a piece of $#!+ too!" Terry raises from his bus station seat with a look of anger on his face. "Ever since I came here to the SJL, I've looked for someone to take The Dark Rebel into their heart. I'm not a &*^#ing cartoon character or a puppet, i'm a man and I have emotional needs. I just wanted a friend. Someone to ride along with. These streets are a lonely place and nobody gives a damn about you here unless you have a those pieces of paper. I thought I had found someone when you stuck your hand out and shook my hand, someone who understands what it important in this world, but all I found was another piece of garbage who would sell his soul for the gold. I would never sell my soul for something like that, but there is one thing that I already have given up my pride and dignity for, and that is for the opportunity to change lives. That is what is really important. That is why I joined the SJL, to educate the meek who lack the integrity and self esteem necessary to be on the level with a man like Terry Wayne. With the yokels that come to these arenas, let me tell you, it's a very hard task. I'll wrestle in a drunk off your ass match or a light tube death match to make a man look into the eyes of the devil inside him and i'll wear a smile doing it. Violence is the only way to get through to those with the addiction for money. I see these people on this very street preach that message every single day." Terry stands at the stop, flicking his cigarette to the ground. "I've been around the block many times, my friend, and I know a snake when I see one. You're a hell of an actor, but the play has just begun. This Tuesday, you will be searching for gold, but I will personally make sure the only color that you see is red. Don't bite the hand that feeds you." Terry hops on the Greyhound and heads for Worcester with fire in his eyes and retribution on his mind.

Secret Agent 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2003 That was a pretty damn good little set up for a match there. I personally liked it. Now what you have to do is make some more... about five more so I can have some more entertainment! (Y)(Y)
Guest Powerplay Report post Posted March 17, 2003 Very nice, Hulkster. You use the surroundings real well, and the opening part on the effect of gold on people is brilliantly done. Keep this stuff up man, it's great quality .
