For the year Funaki is 5-27. He is 5-24 in matches with a "clean" finish. He is 0-3 in matches with a "dusty" finish. Funaki can be proud to know he has a win over a guy who's getting to feud with The Undertaker now. Go fig.

Let's not forget that Funaki also scored an accidental clean win over Lance Storm once that was cut from the show because Storm wasn't supposed to lose.

If you ever think that your favorite wrestler is getting screwed and seems to always be losing, than you can always look at Funaki's record. Unless, of course, your favorite wrestler is Funaki.

This one certainly boggles my mind, that they actually let him win this. :)

Oh well...he's more over than most guys who win constantly.

They have pushed Funaki twice and both times he has gotten over. He is a very capable wrestler and deserves to have a respectible W/L record.

Yeah, unfortunately his nose is about even-height with my belly-button, and he can't speak English fluently, and he's Japanese. ;)

Three strikes that in WWE have doomed him to jobberdom. Which is a shame since he's a great wrestler and still has more charisma than Kidman.

Well on the bright side when he jobs lately its hasn't been clean all the time...but of course he hasn't had a singles win against an under contract WWE worker in almost five months.

That statement had me laughing hysterically for some reason. Good work, CanadianChick.

Whoops your right. I had it listed as Shannon Moore losing and not Funaki for some reason. So make that 5-28 for Funaki.

Just out of curisosity, do you have stats like that for EVERY wrestler? If so, how far do they go back?

I can't believe Funaki jobbed to both Hugh Morrus and Bill DeMott.

Hugh Morrus=Bill DeMott.

That is all.

Just a couple of months ago I decided to go back and track the wins and losses for everyone dating back to the first RAW after Wrestlemania X-8. I chose that time frame because Wrestlemania serves as the Super Bowl of the WWE and in a sense the end of a wrestling year. I just started doing breakdowns of wrestlers this past week when I saw the topic about HHH's wins and losses for the year. So far I've done breakdowns for HHH, Kurt Angle, Rikishi, Eddie Guerrero, Funaki, and A-Train. After Wrestlemania XIX I'll post everyone's total record for the past year and tag team records as well.

That must've been quite a bit of work.
