Guest Report post Posted March 21, 2002 Plus he has a really bad attitude. He thinks he's some sort of big shit kliq member, like Shawn Micheals or something. He never does the job and to make matters worse, he rarely puts in much effort or wrestles the kind of matches he's capable of... how do you know he refuses to job? He does what he gets told. It would be differetn if he had stroke like pal Triple H, but he doesn't. So what else makes him have this bad attitude? He buried both Kidman and Tajiri during the Invasion. That makes him suck in my book. How did he bury them? If X-Pac wants to be in the Heavyweight title hunt then who will job to him. The European, Intercontental, Hardcore champions............I don't think so. Why would DDP, Regal, RVD, Edge or Crash want to work with X-Pac "the under used superstar". If Vicne is like 'look DDP you have to wrestle Pac tonight' why would they say no? They will get a bad rep and mgiht even lose there job. What you said is ridiculous. Guest starvenger Report post Posted March 21, 2002 Does X-Pac suck? Well, probably not as good as Heather from ideepthroat.com but he must do a pretty good job to stay employed... Oh, the other kind of suck. He can work well when motivated, but that seems to occur only once or twice a year...
Guest Report post Posted March 21, 2002 He also didn't have a major neck injury which hampered his wrestling style and caused him to get ye ole' FedEx Axe. Actually Pac had that injury before WCW he just reinjured it I think. I think he was fired because he didn't get along with some peopel too I think. So how do you go about proving X-Pac doesn't suck? It's kind of a double edge sword, really. He could go on a tirade about how he gets no respect, but if he were to go out and try to earn that respect (i.e., go over an army of midcarders/cruiserweights), he'd be vilified for using his "connections" to get a push. It's a no-win situation, unfortunately. Maybe pigeonholing him as the nWo's jobber is the only way to go with him. Why should it be a no-win sitaution becauase we don't like it? We can't do anything and if it gets him more over it will work. And if he is nWo he will not be a jobber. (Incidentally, renaming X-Pac probably isn't a possibility, since that would require Vince admitting there are some gimmicks in the wrest... I mean "sports entertainment" world that werent his idea. But he is using NWO and that was not his idea. He also used Cactus Jack. In fact when he started getting people from ECW and WCW after they closed he has kept there names and alot of there gimmicks. He changed them all the time before but he doesn't now. Besides, it would just confuse the WWF faithful, what with them having to chant "Syxx Suxx") I have never liked him. Even when he was Lightning Kid. Your always saying that it looks like. Do you want an award for it? IMO that wouldn't have been too bad of an idea. He was over then, still in decent health, and would have been a good underdog Champ for a few weeks When exactly was this time? I think X-Pac was never anywhere near champ level. That would hurt the belt very badly.
Guest Report post Posted March 21, 2002 Seriously X-Pac would be perfect in the tag division with Justin Credible as the Kliq B Team. Going over jobber teams of Storm & Scrub, Saturn & Weekend Warrior, or Funaki & Forgeiner Guy. That is jsut where you put guys if you have nothing to do with them so that is not the perfect palce for nobody. And there are no other foreigners Funaki teams with. I met X-Pac the night before WM 2000. He was in one of the many gift shops in Disneyland. He was nice enough to sign an autograph for one of my co-workers, who was a huge DX mark. So I can't bring myself to say that he sucks... Did he act friendly or do it some your freind would leave him alone? Was he recognized alot? He's a prime time player with original, good looking moves and the willingness to have his body shattered for a good match. Sorry Razor, he's not a "scrub" anymore I'm confused....what are you talking about? In fact, I think that it helped destroy any movement that EITHER of them have had on the card, although X-Pac's very public attitude problem since the Invasion hasn't helped him. (In particular, he came of as VERY conceited and implied or outright said that the light-heavyweight and cruiser belts were beneath him, despite holding both of them.) How did destroy there movement on the card? And conceited things has Pac said and where can I see them? You only mentioned the saying he was too good for the belt but I have a hard time Pac would say these things cause they might get him some heat with the boys. He wasn't really excited about signing, but he wasn't acting like it was the most inconvenient thing in the world. I thanked him and left.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted March 21, 2002 I think everyone in general fear the Bronco Buster as much they fear the Stink Face, its just not right. Well maybe Billy & Chuck would like it but not many others. As for not wanting to work with X-Pac I remember the X-Pac & Jericho match with X-Pac having a emotional breakdown after losing to Jericho clean. It was worst than Christians fits!!!!! Of couse X-Pac got a rematch and won but thats besides the point. Tag Teams is where X-Pac truely belongs. This is the nirvana for the useless singles wrestler....just look at Billy Gunn, he was several times tag champ but when he went solo nobody cared about him being the One or Mr. Ass or Rockabilly or Chynas friend. Guest notJames Report post Posted March 21, 2002 And if he is nWo he will not be a jobber. Not in the traditional sense, but he'd probably take Hall's position as nWo fall guy, especially in those oh-so-scintillating tag matches that have been tearing up the main events. He had his moment in the sun years ago. Time for some new blood.
Guest imajackoff? Report post Posted March 21, 2002 X-Pac has sucked, IMHO, since he spent the better part of a year teaming, then feuding, with Kane. It was a storyline that smacked of "we don't know what else to do with these guys" that lasted WAY too long. In fact, I think that it helped destroy any movement that EITHER of them have had on the card, although X-Pac's very public attitude problem since the Invasion hasn't helped him. Actually, one of my favorite angles of the "additude" era was the Kane/Xpac teaming. As far as storytelling and building character depth, this angle was tops. It had the sympathetic character of Kane right after UT and Paul Bearer had turned on him and the cocky Xpac opening up asking Kane to trust him. After weeks of this had gone by, he proves his allegiance to Xpac by choking slaming Taker, who was trying once again to manipulate Kane. It was a well paced story with an awesome payoff. HHH reforming DX as a heel champ seemed to have sped up the split between the two, and then it went completely south when Tori was the centerpiece of the feud. Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted March 21, 2002 I liked to team of X-Pac and Kane as well. I marked out huge when they won the tag titles for the first time and even the Kane/Tori/X-Pac love triangle was pretty good as well. For some reason I always liked how Kane and X-Pac worked together, even if they were teaming together or fight each other.
