Guest Kid Kablam Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 The first time I can remember really liking a good match was Summerslam Bret vs Perfect.
Garth Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 Judgement Day 2000 the iron man match, during that match i went from mark to smark, i realised how crap the Rock actually was and realised how great HHH was then. The 2000 King Of The Ring tournaament, the entire tournamnet just pissed me off with mainly the crappy workers going over bar Angle. I can't believe how quickly i went from being a mark to a smark because i only started watching wrestling properly from Royal Rumble 2000. It took a grand total of 5 months to turn me to the dark side.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 As a kid I always liked Savage and the Hart Foundation (Bret, Anvil, and Jimmy Hart) Harts Vs Bulldogs were always exciting, and I remember watching WM3 and thinking, "why doesn't everyone wrestle matches like Savage/Steamboat?" Never figured out why until years later. Once I got a little older, Bret Vs Hennig; Summerslam 91, made me appreciate work rate and story telling.
Guest JMTapes Posted April 13, 2003 Report Posted April 13, 2003 Not really a specific match, but when Taker "slit" his wrist and made Dennis Knight drink his blood, I pretty much knew.
PsychoDriver Posted April 14, 2003 Report Posted April 14, 2003 Besides the Internet It was seeing Shane Douglas Vs. Pitbull #2 Vs. Chris Jericho Vs. 2-Cold Scorpio from HEAT WAVE 96 on TV made me forget about the crap the WWF had in 1996.
