Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted March 25, 2003 What roster split? And to think OTR showed an interview before RAW where Bischoff was complaining about this very thing.
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted March 25, 2003 I think it would be cool if Raw ended with an attack backstage....maybe Rock attacking Austin's knees setting up the pyschology for their match.....maybe HHH attacking Booker or something. Just something to help setup the Raw feuds even more.
Guest Lil Naitch Report post Posted March 25, 2003 You know what sucks? St. Louis is FINALY getting Smackdown!, and Angles injured and going out for a year. At least I still got Benoit and the Gurrerros
Guest RedJed Report post Posted March 25, 2003 Wonder if they are forcing the fans to stay at the arena through this shit or if they just said "goodnight" after the break between Mcmahon and this. Whatever the case, unless there is some payoff at the end here, this was a stupid move altogether, for us and the live fans in Sac. Whats funny about this is that if they probably researched this, not only do more WWE fans watch Smackdown compared to Raw, but that pretty much everyone that watches Raw watches Smackdown. So its not like this is rare footage they are showing here for the Raw audience.

Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted March 25, 2003 So Glad they didn't have a Tommy dreamer match tonight....That could have cut into all this Value HEAT/VELOCITY Calibur ACTION! WOOHOOO I miss wrestling heh.

Yeah, but those markets all pretty much got replays of the show over the weekend. Wow, that sure was an underwhelming ending. Shame on TNN for wasting that time for nothing. Well, I guess they figured that a lot of people didn't bother to seek out whenever SD was replayed in their market, then. I honestly doubt it had anything to do with the pre-emptions from last week, and more just that they figured TNN would give them an opportunity to hype up Mania as much as they want, so they went for it and did this. I could see Smackdown having highlights of the Austin-Rock stuff on Raw, as well as clips from the tag match tonight probably too. Not full segments, but I could see them using 5-10 minutes recapping Raw with "bonus footage" as they call it.
Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2003 "mmm...No Yuna?" ...Laundry day again. The plus? Gives me something to do during those looooooooong boring segments. Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted March 25, 2003 Laundry day again. The plus? Gives me something to do during those looooooooong boring segments. Lucky you. I had to sit through that...well...actually about halfway through the show, I just kind of gave up and did other stuff instead. I feel bad for those who actually had to sit through that though. Boring Raw.

Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2003 Let's see...how much did I tape out of this suckfest? I got the Rock playing his guitar in the opening segment, the Psycho-Hotness vs Pretty Bitches match of course, the awesome HBK-Jericho segment, Rock's concert..and..uh...that's it. Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted March 25, 2003 Any rating predictions for this messfest? I am guessing it will be low this time. Not sure how low, but the war coverage should have cost them a few viewers, plus, the last thirty minutes will probably score low hurting the rating. It should be interesting to see how low it hits. Plus, I see that this thread is only 23 pages, instead of the usual 30 or so. Usually, when this thread hits lower than usual, so does Raw.

I got the Rock playing his guitar in the opening segment, the Psycho-Hotness vs Pretty Bitches match of course, the awesome HBK-Jericho segment, Rock's concert..and..uh...that's it. I only taped the inter-gender match. To be honest, it's been the only thing on RAW that I tape every other show it seems I didn't even watch the shit after Rocky/Austin after I figured out it was ONLY recap of Smackdown. I disagree with them doing that 100%. We have no split damnit, all we have is the illusion of such.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted March 25, 2003 This was actually one of the better RAWs in some time, outside of the ending, which I thought was actually pretty stupid. OMG! Austin destroyed the Willie Nelson guitar! OMG, Austin's gonna pay.. thats just lame...
Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted March 25, 2003 I was in Arco Arena, and we were told "goodbye" after the Vince/Hogan footage from smackdown. I didn't even know about the Angle/Lesnar stuff till I watched the tape when I got home.
Guest Brian Report post Posted March 25, 2003 The saddest thing about tonight's show was a week before WrestleMania, Chris Jericho was the only one to cut a money promo. Fifth from the top billed match, seventh or eight on the WWE totem pole, and Jericho is the only one who can get everything across.
