Guest edge007 Report post Posted March 25, 2003 As soon as Wrestlemania finishes, I can tell you right now, that the WWE is only going to go downhill. But only if: 1. Booker T and Jericho lose 2. Angle does say goodbye Why is this? 1. Because then you have no Angle 2. no Edge for a year (which means no fresh talent to push, not like they would anyway) 3. Goldberg comes in, and just fights the Rock and Austin, and Jericho and Booker get pushed back to Tag-Midcard roles. 4. Steinern will start getting pushed again (of course he will, WWE logic) 5. Los Guerreros will STILL be in Tag Division with the likes of Rhyno and Benoit 6. They have nobody to put up against Brock, really, unless they choose benoit or rhyno 7. If HHH wins at Mania, he ahs literally nobody to fight against 8. Big Show and A-Train will still be getting a push Of course, this is what I think will happen. But what do you think will happen in the long run, considering the company's state now? p.s. The guy with the hammer is HHH, knocking Vince over the head. That's how WWE logic occured! Guest edotherocket Report post Posted March 25, 2003 Calm down guys. I think we're almost out of this rough patch. In a year or so, I think Vince LITERALLY will have run out of old stars to bring back and be forced to push new stars (he will NEVER do it willingly). Seriously, who is there left to bring back but Sting now? Remember, Sid retired. And then you'll have a situation not unlike Cena is in now, a planned post-Mania push because Vince simply has absolutely no other alternative. Hooray! If HHH wins at Mania, he ahs literally nobody to fight against 8. Big Show and A-Train will still be getting a push 1. No doubt Angle not being around is gonna hurt more anything. 2. I don't know if I'd call Edge fresh talent. Edge's push had basically stalled anyway and I don't think he was going anywhere unless they maybe turned him heel. 3. Goldberg/Rock I guess is a lock for Backlash. Obviously Goldberg/Austin would be a money maker and I'm guessing they'll do that at Bad Blood for the first all Raw PPV so the buyrate doesn't tank for at least the first single brand PPV. Who know what they can do with them after that beyond putting the real or fake title on him. 4. I gotta disagree I think the WWE has already figured out they've gotten all they are gonna get out of Steiner at this point. He'll be stuck in the midcard and eventually be released. Complete waste of money. 5. If Rey wins the cruiser title at Mania or maybe in a rematch at Backlash gotta figure a feud with Chavo would be a possibility. Eddie is never gonna be pushed to the main event and just have to live with that. Benoit and Rhyno are just a stop gap tag team and nothing more. Benoit will remain near the main event but never win the title. I think Rhyno is definently a possible Brock opponent down the road. 6. Well Cena seems to be the next opponent but I really have no clue how they're gonna make ANYONE think Cena has a shot against Brock as he has squashed Cena in their previous matches. Oh well I prefer throwing someone like Cena out there to be Brock's first title defense in a guarenteed win rather than throwing Benoit against him or yet another Big Show or Undertaker match. 7. I at least hope there will be a rematch against Booker at Backlash where Booker wins but then I just remebered...Austin...god damnit. *sigh* Hello midcard. 8. Yes and then be pushed down the card again for a few months and then pushed back up for a few months yet again. Just the way it goes.

Guest Mole Report post Posted March 25, 2003 Jericho won't loose, but Booker will. I hope that isn't the case, but it usually is.

Push Cena in a different gimmick, have him murder the hosses. I'm serious, some hosses need to go, except for the Big Show. 2. Woo hoo! 3. See quote 4. See quote 5. I know it's late or early for a New Years Resolution (depending on your perspective), but I will resolve not to watch Smackdown. 6. Brock vs. Goldberg? HHH? Rhyno? Austin? Gobeldy Gooker? Steiner? 7. rising up out of the back seat-nuh 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2003 I think Benoit and Rhyno will split at WM or soon after, with one of them turning, fueding for a while and the heel facing brock after Cena. I don't think Cena having no hope against Lesnar is a problem, cause Brock needs a run as a monster where he can get convincing wins at PPV's. HHH has got Austin, Nash and Goldberg to face. More important though is after Rock leaves ther are no other heels apart from HHH and Jericho (annother reason why Booker wont have a run as champion) meaning someone new gets the rub. Hopefully Big Show and A-Train will have a run as a tag team. I know this sounds stupid, but booked decently, having the big heels against the smaller faces could be a good feud. The main problem for WWE post WM is the lack of heels. Look at a list of the top bad guys: Angle (injured) HHH (semi-injured and losing heat rapidly) Jericho (push has stalled for too long to be pushed right now) Big Show (not over) A-Train (not over) Rock (Back in Hollywood for the summer) Discuss

Methinks you missed the point of bob's reply… And for the record, I declare Goldberg's eventual title shot against HHHeMan the most-watched Smark match, if only to see which one is stronger: the power of desperate spending, or the power of nepotism and politics. You must be joking. Please tell me that you said that with your tongue firmly in cheek. Yeah Brock has looked so weak in his feud with Angle that he really needs a feud he can dominate to regain his monster image... riiight Damnit Anglesault...get out of my head

That would defeat the purpose of the belt. Both "World" titles would be on Smackdown, and all we would have on Raw is their crappy tag division.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted March 25, 2003 That's why HHH will lose and jump to Smackdown where he will be Brock's next feud since WWe is short on what they see as credible heels. Of course then Vince will have to sacrifice his son in law HHH to his star project Brock. So that's not happening.
