Guest B-X Report post Posted March 26, 2003 hzuh? Good to see they are trying to start the Cena Lesner feud ear.... Oh my God.. Would they have Cena interfere on Sunday? Also: Jimmy Hart? DAMNIT
Guest EternallyLazy Report post Posted March 26, 2003 veddy interesting... So they're going to have Lesnar "end" Angle's career at Mania eh? Looks like a worthwhile show. Chavo vs. Benjamin should be pretty sweet, as well as the cruiser tag match I really wish the people sending in the spoilers would list whether a match was good or not though
Guest RedJed Report post Posted March 26, 2003 Weird sounding show to say the least. And not in a good way. I'll leave it at that.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted March 26, 2003 thats a piss poor smackdown card for the last show before Wrestlemania.
Guest Lord of The Curry Report post Posted March 26, 2003 Sorry chief, it's Eddy vs Hass.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted March 26, 2003 I don't really expect ***** matches since it's only 3 days till Mania. They always go heavy on the short matches with a week to go
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted March 26, 2003 Between this show and Raw this week...I think it's pretty obvious how every match but HBK/Y2J ends on Sunday... of course the WrestleMania special showing the highlight package for that match and only showing HBK might give that away too. Booking by numbers!
Guest RedJed Report post Posted March 26, 2003 I don't really expect ***** matches since it's only 3 days till Mania. They always go heavy on the short matches with a week to go Thats certainly not the reason why this show looks unfulfilling. The general booking from reading this sounds like a horrid lead-in to Mania for most of the SD matches.
Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted March 26, 2003 This was in the Rajah spoilers and not on these ones: The Storm/Morley vs. RVD/Kane match has been scheduled to take place on Heat and was announced as such tonight.
Guest EternallyLazy Report post Posted March 26, 2003 Sorry chief, it's Eddy vs Hass. I misread... either way, Eddie vs Haas and Chavo vs. Benjamin shouldn't be too bad... but probably not sole reasons to watch the show Sounds like a decent show... although they needed more than "decent" heading into Mania
Guest Nanks Report post Posted March 26, 2003 Not every match is so obvious to me bps, post your predictions in the prediction thread and we'll see how "obvious" it all is. Cena beating Rikishi with a Michinoku Driver is mad.
Guest EternallyLazy Report post Posted March 26, 2003 This was in the Rajah spoilers and not on these ones: The Storm/Morley vs. RVD/Kane match has been scheduled to take place on Heat and was announced as such tonight. I'm no fan of RVD and I'll admit it... but even I think the idea of RVD wrestling on HEAT instead of at Mania itself while bastards like Big Show and A-Train get a spot on the card should be a fucking crime
Guest Lord of The Curry Report post Posted March 26, 2003 I doubt it's a true Michinoku Driver aka jumping sitout piledriver, it's probably a bodyslam and Cena slipped and fell down.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted March 26, 2003 That's it! I'm not ordering!!!!!!
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted March 26, 2003 This was in the Rajah spoilers and not on these ones: The Storm/Morley vs. RVD/Kane match has been scheduled to take place on Heat and was announced as such tonight. Hmm.. RVD doesn't even make it to Wrestlemania..
Guest T®ITEC Report post Posted March 26, 2003 So Shane-O is aligned with Vince again or something? AHHHH IT SUCKED SO MUCH IN '99~ Anyway, like BPS, I won't be ordering WM this year. No one will care, either.
Guest Banky Report post Posted March 26, 2003 Wow. they almost built the entire show around Cena. *marks* *marks again* *continiously marks* *will mark all night* *will mark until Thursday night*
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted March 26, 2003 The Storm/Morley vs. RVD/Kane match has been scheduled to take place on Heat and was announced as such tonight. That's a damn shame.
Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2003 "they almost built the entire show around Cena." and then Brock beat him senseless to end the show. Now playing the part of Kurt Angle for the last 3 months... John Cena. (I hope you like Brock crushing Cena for months for their feud)
Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted March 26, 2003 I doubt it's a true Michinoku Driver aka jumping sitout piledriver, it's probably a bodyslam and Cena slipped and fell down. The Rajah spoilers said it was a Death Valley Driver. We'll see in a couple days... Other thoughts: -Looks like DeMott is back to being ANGRY and INTENSE! -Team Angle is starting to get a record that Funaki would be proud of. Can it be any more obvious that they're winning on Sunday? -Odd that they'd kick start Lesnar/Cena now. I thought they'd at least save it until next week. As for the recent Mania developments - dear Lord does RVD need to get away from Kane. Next time I'm really bored I'm going to search old threads from last August talking about Kane's return being such a great thing, just for my own amusement. Meh show this week it seems. Hopefully WWE TV gets a much needed jolt next week as the reset button gets pushed again.
Guest RedJed Report post Posted March 26, 2003 This was in the Rajah spoilers and not on these ones: The Storm/Morley vs. RVD/Kane match has been scheduled to take place on Heat and was announced as such tonight. On one hand I can deal with that since that match is a pile of shit anyway in the first place. It wont waste time on the actual 4 hour show. This match seemed to be booked in a way that forced this on Heat if you ask me since it has zero heat and is pointless filler. On the flip side, its completely fucked up that both Kane and RVD (OR the Raw tag titles) didn't get a spot on the Mania card. I dont know if the whole injury thing was the fodder for the inept booking or what, I hope thats the case. The ONLY hope is that MAYBE this match will have RVD and Kane win the belts in record time and they do a rushjob of having them pull double duty in whatever way by having a match on the Mania card as well (who knows what though, another tag title match? Or what?) in a better spot. So if they took this match off Mania and add nothing else, this means the Mania card only has 9 matches for a 4 hour show. Damn. Guest bravesfan Report post Posted March 26, 2003 Why move a match to Heat, considering there's only 9 matches now. Isn't Wrestlemania XIX scheduled to be 4 hours long? Please tell me Limp Bizkit will only be performing one song, not their entire library of music. SD! looks good. The Lesnar/Angle confrontation should come off as a great way to build anticipation for their Wrestlemania match, but I'm a bit confused by it not being the last segment of the show. Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted March 26, 2003 I'm so glad they pulled the RAW tag title match with two of the biggest faces on RAW OFF of the FOUR HOUR show... Now we'll have time for the 20 minute Vince/Hogan epic and the 15 minute Hoss Tag match!!! Seriously...unless every match is twenty minutes... Why is Limp Bizkit singing and teh cat fight girls....doing whatever the fuck and RVD can't be on Mania?????
Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2003 bps: feel lucky that RVD hasn't recieved the touch of the Indian death worms yet (did he go to India?) we'll see if RVD makes it to wrestlemania
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted March 26, 2003 I wish they would just fire him. In fact...I pray at least once a week that they would just fire him.
Guest bravesfan Report post Posted March 26, 2003 Wrestlemania X8's total match time took up about 1:50 of the show, broken up into 10 matches (with the hardcore match and subsequent confrontations not counted). Hogan/Rock's post-match incident took up about 10 minutes, while the four musical performances took up another 15 minutes. Hopefully, we'll get close to 2:25 devoted to in-ring work this time around. Just for comparison, Wrestlemania X-7 come up at about 2:00 of in-ring work.
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Report post Posted March 26, 2003 1) Wasn't there supposed to be a Nathan Jones match tonight? 2) This Hogan/McMahon feud better not lead to a Shane McMahon vs Nick Hogan match. 3) Cena gives Rikishi a michinoku driver?!? WTF?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted March 26, 2003 "Wrestlemania X8's total match time took up about 1:49 of the show, broken up into 10 matches (with the hardcore match and subsequent confrontations not counted)." In other news....WrestleMania X8 sucked. Wonder what the correlation is...
