Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2003 http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n...1636EST7193.DTL "A widespread earthquake is taking place beneath the Northwest, slowly unleashing energy that may be equivalent to the magnitude 6.7 Nisqually quake that rocked the region two years ago, experts say." Wouldn't that be another blow to the WWE, with the PPV in Seattle
Guest MrRant Report post Posted March 27, 2003 I haven't felt it since it is a silent quake. Here's to hoping nothing "slips".
Guest Choken One Report post Posted March 27, 2003 Whoa...First I thought you meant John Tenta...But DAAMNnnn...This might not be good for WWE now...
Guest Raven_Effect01 Report post Posted March 27, 2003 How will WWE go about this? Will they move the event to a safer area so nothing happens to the wrestlers, or will they take a risk on keeping it in Safeco Field?
Guest Choken One Report post Posted March 27, 2003 It is somewhat scary to think a 6.7 earthquake could occur during Mania with Over 52,000 people in the Building.... If a Earthquake is damaging enough, WWE would have to obviously delay or post pone Mania until likely a week later... If they can, They might have to Move to Key Arena but then you get a whole outrage since about 30000 are pretty much left out... Should be interesting to see this develop... Fortunately the Nisqually quake 2 years ago didn't do any real damage. Just some pictures falling off of walls and electricity went out in some places but other than that it wasn't a very bad one. Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted March 27, 2003 What could go wrong? Wrestlemania...Angle and Lesnar have just got through a 20 minute classic match. Kurt Angle: Wow, what a match, and I didn't even hurt my neck! An Earthquake rocks the arena, causing Angle to fall and break his neck...
Guest LatinoHeat Report post Posted March 27, 2003 When it rains it pours. I could see the WWwhatever postponing Mania for awhile.

cawthon777 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2003 A 6.7 isn't the best way to wake up in the morning but it's not going to open up a hole to hell either. We used to have semi-regular earthquakes in the 5-6 range when I lived in Alaska. A little unnerving but that was it. I'm not putting much stock into this story or how it relates to WrestleMania. Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted March 27, 2003 With the WWE's luck as of late, it would probably happen.
Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted March 27, 2003 Am I the only one that at first glance thought the poster meant, the WRESTLER The Earthquake(John Tenta) was gonna be at Wrestlemania?
Guest The Czech Republic Report post Posted March 27, 2003 Am I the only one that at first glance thought the poster meant, the WRESTLER The Earthquake(John Tenta) was gonna be at Wrestlemania? Of course not. I thought they were holding "Gimmick Battle Royal 2: Electric Boogaloo" or something.
Guest Brian Report post Posted March 27, 2003 SafeCo is much, much safer than Key Arena. Plus, it says it's the equivalent of that being realeased over a few weeks. Haven't felt anything in the last four weeks, so you shouldn't be expecting much.
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2003 Eh. That 6.7 Earthquake didn't phase me one bit, and all it did to my house was knock my Tenchi Muyo figurines off the computer. I wouldn't worry so much.
