At the main menu, select Extras, from there highlight The Making of RAW on the roof and press left. This will show the very first RAW beginning. From the main menu, select RAW Retro Moments, from there highlight Monday Night RAW Debut and press right. This will show yet another early RAW opening. From the MAIN Menu go to the CHAPTERS Menu and highlight "Looked Good on Paper". Press Left and you will go to a black screen with instructions on how to navigate the gallery of bad gimmicks. This is a great gallery with some hilarious and ridiculous gimmicks that have been used in the WWE in years past. This is one of the better "eggs" I've come across. Enjoy. Guest Downhome Report post Posted March 28, 2003 The only Easter Egg that would have had me buy this piece of crap, is an entire other DVD hidden within this one.
Guest bravesfan Report post Posted March 28, 2003 Bought the DVD for 14.99. There are 7 easter eggs on the DVD, which are all different RAW openings from the RAW eras. --The very first RAW opening. --An updated one from what looks like post-SS 1995 (with the infamous Nash/Bret "handshake") --The "RAW on The Roof" opening. --The "Warzone" opening from mid-1997. (with Austin walking through the abdandoned warehouse) --A RAW opening from the McMahon-Helmsley Era. --The last RAW opening with "Thorn In Your Eye". --The Union Underground RAW opening. Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted March 28, 2003 Does it actually make it worth purchasing, though?
Guest bravesfan Report post Posted March 28, 2003 It should be on the "maybe" pile for everyone, as long as it's found at a cheap price. The DVD does have all 18 (?) of those 45-second "RAW Retro" spots they aired during January to hype the show, as well as 15 interviews I've summarized for you all out there. --Terri asks Victoria about she felt about not being nominated for "Diva of the Decade". Victoria feels that the belt around her waist is much more important than any award. --Terri asks the Fabolous Moolah about it felt to be the original Diva of the WWF. Moolah jokes to Terri about "leaving a bit to the imagination", as Terri's breasts are straddling Moolah's face. --Chris Benoit talks about the "Anglesault", throws a few hilarious insults at Angle, and promises to win the WWE title at Royal Rumble 2003. --Big Show refers to "his agent" for an interview, which the camera then pans to Paul Heyman, who doesn't know who Josh Matthews is. Funny stuff. --Terri inquires to Kane about how it felt to set a man on fire. Kane stops her, and says that he's been going to "Firestarter's Anonymous", to prevent himself from doing it again. --Terri asks Jeff Hardy "what's the most extreme thing you've ever seen on Raw". Jeff refers to an extreme thing he "felt", and that was the first "RAW on TNN" and the spear off the ladder from Edge. --Kurt Angle is next, as he talks aboout not being nominated for the RAW award for trash-talking. Pretty bland. --Chris Jericho insults the fashion sense of the New Yorkers in attendance, referring to Classie Freddie Blassie as a "fashion plate" for good clothing. In a funny spot, Terri asks Jericho about his $29.99 shoes (gator shoes) and he retorts by "Look at these BAD BOYS! They look like they're 45 dollars each!" --William Regal is asked about "the texture of Vince's ass". In a funny note, Regal talks about "doing what had to be done to keep a job in the business" and thanks Eric Bischoff across the room in a pretty serious tone. Terri keeps inquiring about Vince's ass and Regal responds by saying "anyone else in his position would've done the same". Bubba Dudley interjects and cuts a promo on their upcoming match at RR '03. --Josh asks Linda McMahon about the "one thing you expected to never air on Raw". Linda votes for "Read my lips...I want a divorce" and the facial expression on Vince's face. --Josh asks the same question to Michael Cole, and he nonchalantly responds with "Tazz". Draws laughter, boos and sympathy for Tazz, who laughs with a mouthful of food. Josh asks Cole about his favorite RAW moment, and Cole responds again with "Tazz...all of them". Tazz is asked about his favorite RAW moment, and he talks about his confrontation at MSG with JR, where Jerry Lawler stuck up for Ross. --Terri talks to Shawn Michaels about his thoughts about not being nominated for "RAW Superstar of the Decade". Shawn jokes about his age, and how he plans to give back to the next generation of RAW superstars. --Bubba Ray Dudley is up next, with his thoughts on Austin winning the "RSotD" award. Bubba talks about Austin putting RAW on the map, and Bubba asks everyone "to raise a glass for Stone Cold...wherever you are". --Terri notes to Scott Steiner that he, along with his brother Rick, were one of the few wrestlers on the first RAW ever, as Scott reflects on how RAW and professional wrestling has evolved from 1993. Good stuff. --Matt Hardy talks about the series of "TLC matches", how it was like to be in them and how they've become the finest matches of his career. Guest Bruiser Chong Report post Posted March 28, 2003 The DVD may be one of the worst that WWE has put out yet, but I'll give them this--it's probably one of the more slick looking packages they've had a DVD in.
